You found yourself curled up into a ball on the couch, wrapped in layers of blankets.

"Hachooo!", you sneezed for the 10th time, or more. (did i really have to write the hachoo word? wahaha)

You took more tissues from the coffee table, but it was the last one.

The box was empty.

As empty as your stomach.

You sat up and pulled off the blankets. You looked like Rudolf the reindeer already with your runny nose.

You put on a mask and wore a thick coat. Opening the door, the cold wind greeting you, making you shiver a little.

It was lightly raining outside and the sun hasn't been up since morning.

You took an umbrella hung beside your door and pressed it open.

Closing the door behind you, you sniffed once again.

You were wearing thick clothes yet it was still cold.

You walked towards the nearby convinience store and went through the items, finding your favorite cup noodles, along with a few boxes of tissue to make sure you don't run out.

You took the stuff to the counter, and watched as the young man scanned it.

You felt the urge to sneeze and You covered your nose with your handkerchief, forgetting that you were actually wearing a mask, but you did it anyway.

The boy told you the total as you took the closest amount you had from your wallet.

After you got the change, you thanked him and took your paper bags, exiting the store.

You took your umbrella which was left open outside and pulled it up over your head.

You started walking and felt really weak. Your throat felt worse and you felt like throwing up.

You didn't feel like getting medicine since the pharmacy was 30 minutes away. It's gonna be a long walk if you still want to buy medicine, and you were sure to yourself that you couldn't walk that far.

Your breathing got heavier as you walked closer and closer to your apartment, eyes starting to drop.

You were almost at the door of your apartment, when you felt like you lost your balance. You held onto the wall and slightly crouched in pain.

Just in time, someone appeared infront of you. Turns out he's been waiting there since you went to the store.

You heard muffled sounds, "jagiya?"

Your vision was staring to blur out due to your teary-eyes. You weren't crying because you were sad or something, you didn't even know why you were crying.

Your head felt like it was being hammered, as you had no choice to hold on to the "stranger".

The next thing you knew was that, you were lying down on your own bed, thankfully not at the hospital.

The first thing you looked for was your phone.

You checked the time and it was 11:21 pm.

Almost midnight. You looked around, trying not to fall by holding onto the walls beside you.

You heard a sound from the tv as you slowly went to the living room.

You stood behind the couch and immediately knew who it was.

"You're here," you said with a faint voice.

He looked over at you and smiled, tapping on the space beside him, clearly telling you to sit.

You obeyed, as you sat next to him.

His embrace filled you with warmth, feeling like all the worries disappear.

"I'm glad you're in my life," you thought even though he wouldn't hear it, but that was on purpose.

He was slightly flustered when he caught you staring at him with a weak smile.

He caressed your arm as you layed closer to his chest. You could feel his heart beating quite faster than normal.

"Have you drank your medicine yet?", he spoke while pressing his lips against the top of your head.

You gently shook your head and snuggled closer to his chest, putting your arms over his stomach.

"There's some on the kitchen, wait, I'll go get them," he stood up, taking you off him.

"I'll get them, you don't have to—"

"Just rest, alright? Be glad that I let you go outside your bedroom. I would've locked you up in there so you can rest until tomorrow," he said while his voice started to fade as he walked away to the direction of your small kitchen.

You smiled as you turned your attention to the tv.

The old couple were inside a hospital room, the woman on the hospital bed while their hands were intertwined.

The wrinkles on their face symbolizing how long they've been in love.

They were staring at each other as if it was the last time they'd see each other.

In fact, it was.

The old man kissed his forehead while they both smiled. The old woman slowly closing his eyes, as the man watched her grip let go of his hand.

"Aigoo, I hope I don't end up like that," you frowned but not enough to cry. It was a very sad scene afterall.

"It's okay, as long as I'm the last one to hold your hand," he sat next to you, medicine and a glass of water in his hands as he placed the glass on the coffee table.

You took the medicine and swallowed it with the water, after finally smiling at him.

"I'd be the happiest halmoni to grow old with you."
