"Babe, what's wrong?", you asked him for the third time.

Again, no answer.

He slipped into his pajamas and you did the same, following him but still getting no response.

You sighed and slept it off.

The next morning As you woke up, just like everyday, he was gone.

A faint sigh escaped your lips as you made your way to the bathroom.

The cold water should be freshening you up, but it seemed to make you feel even more heavy-hearted.

In that moment, you knew the day wouldn't go as nice as you wanted.

You kept asking yourself, "did I do anything wrong?"

You clutched your tummy where a small bump was growing.
"It'll be okay."

"Namjoon?", you called out but there was no answer. Maybe he's working overtime again.

You took off your shoes and looked further around. It was still a little early than the usual time you got off work.

An idea popped up in your mind.
You decided to surprise him and go to his workplace.

You passed by his favorite restaurant and bought him his favorite meat.

Along the way, you felt your heartbeat unusually go fast. You didn't have a single clue why. It's as if your feet where dragging you away from your destination, while your heart also did.

Sighing, you still went to his workplace.

You asked the receptionist who knew you pretty well.

"Miss Chaemi, are you looking for Mr. Kim?", she asked with a smile.

"Yes, did he leave yet?", you asked.

"Aniyo, I haven't seen him walk out the building yet."

"Ah thank you," you beamed at her and she politely bowed.

You took an elevator to the third floor and happily skipped along the hallway, ignoring the strange feeling that made your heart feel heavy.

You peeked at the door and the sight stunned you.

Your hands were shaking and you dropped the paper bag.

"I should've known.. he's cheating on me," tears started to trail down your cheeks.

You walked away, emotions eating you up as the scenery would never get off your mind.

You felt your tummy hurt a little, as if the little human knew.

"He didn't have to know."
