Omkara went back to his room to see Gauri stirring. Gauri opened her eyes, and looked around her wondering where is she. Then everything came back to her.

"Omkaraji, is Annika bhaujaai fine? Did the blood donation help? Is she okay now? Can I meet her?" Gauri had more questions, but Omkara put a finger on her lips.

"Easy, easy. Annika bhaabhi is okay. She is still unconscious, but according to the doctor she'll wake up either tonight or tomorrow morning. You can meet her tomorrow. And by the way, you aren't in great shape either. Here have this juice" said Omkara helping Gauri sit up, and handing her a glass of juice which looked too green to Gauri.

"Er, do I have to drink this?" said Gauri, making a face.

"Yes, because I'm afraid the doctor was scared the Shivaay will murder him if Annika bhaabhi doesn't wake up alive and well, and in his excitement he might have drained you like a vampire" said Omkara.

"I don't mind. I told the doctor that he take as much blood as he wants, I just wanted Annika bhaujaai to be alive" said Gauri, with honesty and affection.

"I know that" said Omkara, matter-of-factly, but his eyes expressed so much more, which Gauri didn't see.

Gauri took a sip of the juice, and clicked her tongue. "This is....very bad" she commented, and drank some more, because she knew that Omkaraji won't let her live in peace until she finished it.

"What is a vampire?" asked Gauri suddenly.

"Hmm..." said Omkara, confused.

"You said the doctor would have drained me like a vampire. What's a vampire?" asked Gauri, curious.

"Oh that. Vampire is a mythical or you can say a sort of fantasy creature. Rather monster, who looks like a human being, but is not. It changes into a bat at will, and wakes up only at night. Oh, and it drinks human blood to survive. So, it kills a human with its teeth, and bites into them to drink their blood" explained Omkara.

"Please never, never read stories to kids. They will sleep off in seconds" remarked Gauri.

"Well, don't people read stories to kids to make them sleep?" asked Omkara.

"Yes, but not from boredom. Kids should be interested in the story, should be able to imagine it, enthralled by it, otherwise what's the point" said Gauri.

"What's the point of anything in life?" asked Omkara, suddenly, sounding a little morose.

"No, there you are wrong. There always something worth living. If we think that there is nothing worth living toh hum kaise jeeyenge? (how will we live?) Life has so much to offer, to enjoy, to fight for. And most of all there is love and faith. Visvaas se sab theek ho jaata hain (everything is remedied with faith)" said Gauri confidently.

Omkara didn't argue her point. Just listened.

"I'm fine Omkaraji. Its not that late, just evening. I can reach home before night" said Gauri, looking at the sky, outside Omkara's window.

"No. You are not well yet. Stay here, at least for tonight" said Omkara.

"But..." Gauri was ready to argue.

"Please, please, lets not fight. Finish this juice, and then I'll get you something to eat" Omkara almost pleaded.

Gauri gave up, and finished the atrocious juice.
