"I have a feeling that Maithili Dadi, doesn't like me" said Omkara.

They were sitting in their guest room after dinner.

"Well, I guess so. But I don't think its because of you, she hardly knows you that well. I feel she just wants to....I don't know how to say it, she is still a little upset with Kalyani Dadi, so she is taking it out on you, her grandson. Or it could be that she is plain strict, like Dadi had told us before coming here" said Gauri.

"Maybe...Gauri, did you have fun today?" asked Omkara, changing the topic.

"Oh yes, let me show you all that I bought. Honestly, those girls are fun but also so silly..." said Gauri, and displayed the Kolhapuri chappals she had bought for herself and Jiji. "Jiji, is going to love these, and probably name them something odd....like chamki or..."

"Chandini?" suggested Omkara, as Gauri giggled.

"Gauri....do you get bored with me? Those girls are your age...." said Omkara, hesitatingly.

"Omkaraji, did you take that offhand remark of Maithili Dadi seriously? Your age doesn't matter to me. But your thoughts do" said Gauri, not letting him off the hook so easily.

Omkara understood what she was referring to, and did not pursue the topic further.

Gauri started working on a piece of cloth, snipping her scissors through it.

"What are you upto?" asked Omkara.

"Dadi wanted me to make clothes for the idols in the pooja, as I told her about my job in Bareilly. I am determined to flaunt my skills here" laughed Gauri.

Omkara smiled and offered his help, but Gauri refused. She didn't need it yet.

So, for the next hour both of them sat in silence, Gauri working at her clothes, and Omkara starting on a new charcoal sketch. After a while, Gauri started yawning.

"Time for sleep" said Omkara noticing, his voice leaving no space for arguments.

Like the last two days, they held hands and went off to sleep.

"I can't wait for the weekend" complained Rudra, as he and Soumya were about to leave for work.

He turned around to see Soumya looking at her phone.

"Sumo?" asked Rudra snapping his fingers before her eyes.

"Yeah? Sorry, I just...my Aaiee messaged me the address....where my biological mother lives" said Soumya.

Rudra rushed to hold her, as it looked like she could faint any moment.

"Sumo, just because you have that address, doesn't mean you have to go. You can choose to ignore it, if you don't feel like it. After all, after almost twenty three years, this must be too much to take. Its all up to you, you don't have to do anything, if you don't want to" said Rudra.

"You know its so weird to see you speaking wisdom" Soumya giggled unexpectedly.

Rudra was relieved seeing her smile.

"I think I will go, I want to meet her....just once, find the truth" said Soumya.

"Do you want me to come?" asked Rudra.

"Thanks Rudy, but no, I think the first time, I'll see her alone. I'll go this weekend, but that will cut our time together short" said Soumya, looking at Rudra.
