Later that night, the four returned to the common room. Thankfully it was the weekend, so it didn't matter how late they stayed up. The boys, went up to bed while Y/n stayed in the common room.
It was early morning now, and Y/n still hadn't slept, she wasn't tired either. She was sat in front of the fireplace, a book in hand. She had started this book last night, and was already halfway finished. She was so engulfed in her book, she didn't hear the painting to the common room swing open.
"Y/n?"
Flinching, Y/n looked back and saw Remus. He looked absolutely exhausted, and had a new cut on his cheek. Y/n gasped, and placed her book down rushing over to him.
"Remmy." Y/n said softly, looking at the new cut. She gently placed her hand on his cheek, making sure not to touch the cut.
"Y-your talking again." Remus said, his face heating up as she gently touched his cheek.
Y/n smiled "I told you, only a month. And that month is over." She said.
Remus smiled softly "I-I'm glad." He stuttered, wanting to lean into her touch. But he knew it'd be too weird.
"Was it that bad last night?" Y/n asked softly, her beautiful e/c eyes meeting his green ones.
Remus smiled softly "Nothing I can't handle." He said.
Neither of the two realized how close they where, until Y/n's face flushed red and she stepped back "S-sorry." She whispered, "Uhm, have you gone to see Madam Pomfrey?"
Remus nodded "Yeah, she did what she could. Said I should just rest now." He said.
Y/n hunmed "You should go lay down then, once breakfast is ready I'll bring you some." She said, walking back to the couch and sitting down.
"Have you slept at all?" Remus asked, moving over to her.
Y/n grabbed her book and shook her head "No, but I'm not tired." She said, opening up to the page she left off on.
"Y/n, you need sleep." Remus said.
Y/n shook her head "I've got three chapters left." She said.
"Y/n, you seriously need to sleep." Remus said, yawning afterwards.
Y/n looked up, "No, you need some sleep. I'll go to bed once I've finished my book." She said.
Remus sighed, knowing that he couldn't persuade her "Fine, fine. But if I come down here later and you're asleep-"
