A/n: the owl really said "i do my lil dancy dance"

Summer continued to flutter by rather quickly. Lily's two week visit to the Potter manor seemed so short, but so eventful and long at the same time.

During Lily's visit, both her and Y/n torturing James. Since he was all alone, and the boys weren't due to come till middle of next month. Fleamont and Euphemia absolutely loved Lily(as usual due to her coming every summer). Much to Y/n, and Lily's surprise. James didn't flirt with Lily.

James instead of being childish, actually worked on school work. Lily kept saying she was rather impressed, and glad that he was maturing. Or something stupid like that. Y/n still found her twin, insufferable. Even if she loved him.

Euphemia, Y/n, and Lily, always had some kind of girls day out. And they both had an, amazing time. They went to some lunchs, and did a bit of shopping. It was a blast for all of them.

When Lily left, Y/n fell into boredom. Lily would've stayed all summer if she could, but she was going on a trip to France with her family.

Y/n had been constantly lettering her other friends(lily included once she left). But the one person she lettered often, was Remus. When Fleamont found out about the relationship, he was of course protective and hesitant. But eventually, he gave in. He knew how kind, and respectful Remus was.

There was only one problem with that summer, and that was Sirius. The twins hadn't heard from their friend, since they left Hogwarts. Y/n had lettered Remus, and Peter. Asking if they had heard from their friend, but the answer was still the same. No.

Currently, Y/n and James sat in the kitchen. Y/n was desperately trying to teacher her twin how to play UNO, but he was absolutely helpless. Fleamont and Euphemia, were at work. They seemed to always be at work, especially with what was happening. The wizarding world seemed to get worse and worse.

"Oh, my sweet Merlin James!" Y/n shouted, throwing her head back.

"Isn't that how you play?" James asked, confused.

"No!" Y/n exclaimed, "You can't put a green four, on a red one!" She shouted.

"Well why the hell not!" James exclaimed, throwing his cards down.

Y/n slammed her face onto the table, ignoring the pain "I fucking hate you. I hate you so much." She grumbled.

"Okay, maybe jusy explain it once more." James said.
