" Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves"

Warning!
This is where the Manga and the story itself take a huge turn, meaning it probably won't follow the actual manga anymore with Sasaki's side of the story because of the lack of chapters out in Tokyo Ghoul Re.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Levin POV

I got out of the passenger side door and stood with a black hoodie over my head, my mask covering my face. I held a bag on my back, the object inside I carry with care, because Uta trusted me with it.

Kurona tapped my shoulder, pointing up to an open window, lights were off inside. I nod and I get next to the building, and wait for her to get a running start.

She sprints a few yards away and steps on my hands, and I catapult her up as high as my arms could take her. The window is on the fourth floor, so she made her kagune come out and climbed the building, looking inside, and giving me the thumbs up, jumping through it.

I wait for awhile, then a rope comes down and I start to climb, carefully so I don't get rope burn. I grab the ledge, but the ice on it makes me slip, and I start to scream as I'm falling, but a red limb wraps around me, pulling me to safety.

I'm basically thrown through the window, landing on top of Kurona, who was the one who caught me. In the dark, of course I can't see, so I end up tripping a lot, by the noise, so does she.

We finally stop struggling when we hear voices outside the door to the hall. "Did you hear something?" Said a man's voice.

"Nah, your hearing things, c'mon, the auctions starting!" Said another voice excitedly.

Me and Kurona are tangled on each other, and my face is burning from embarrassment. Get a hold of yourself, where's the light? I trace my hand around the wall, and slip on the little grip I had keeping me and Kurona from actually touching.

I fall chest to chest with her, feeling her chest rub against me made me blush harder, and it didn't help that she was breathing heavily, her breath hitting my face. She smelled sort of good- No! Focus.

I trace my hand again on the wall, focusing mostly on balance. Then when it's flicked on, I'm face to face with her, her face is covered by a mask, so neither of us can see each others faces. The only reason we can feel each others breaths is because the masks have awesome filters to make sure no moisture gathers inside.

I untangle as quietly as I can, and soon were both standing again. She hugs her chest, looking away from me. "Watch where your going." She mumbled.

I scratch my head. "Don't pull so hard then." I said as I placed my ear to the door, listening for anyone outside.

Sasaki and his squad was supposed to be here tonight, and I'm here to get him. But I have a really bad feeling about this, I don't know why. I frown as I walk into the hall, Kurona at my back, watching the other end as I start walking down it towards the sound.

I lean over the side, a giant room with a spotlight in the middle, people with masks are giving some sort of speech. I squint at them, trying to see better.

The room was quite large, and looked like some sort of theater. I bite my lip by how many people are here. Sasaki won't be inside the auction, he'll come in when they start the attack.

I stand at look around, everyone is wearing masks... I don't really need to hide, I can blend with the crowd. I slowly walk through the crowd, soon ending up on a balcony next to the man I was supposed to meet inside.
