Vincent POV

"Thanks for coming down here." I said to Levin, who had just woken up, having half of his hair spiked up from bed head. A part of me wanted to tell him about it, but the other half wanted to take a picture and make fun of him.

So I took a picture.

Levin squinted at me and glared. "What did you just do?" He asked.

"Nothing, let's get to business, okay?" I said, spinning back around to my monitors and typing a few commands in until a face came up on the screen.

Levin leaned in and looked at the man that showed up.

"Who is this?" I asked.

"This is Gabe. He's a spy in Aogiri sent in from me and Yomo. He needs your help." I explained shortly.

Levin looked confused and looked back at the picture. Gabe had red hair, and blue eyes. I met him awhile back from Yomo introducing me, and apparently the old man Owl had turned him on the right path like he did with Yomo.

"So... what's he need help with?" Levin asked, sitting down in his chair.

I sighed and scratch my head. "The idiot accidentally was clued to be a traitor. Their suspicious of him, and he has no means of escape unless we help him." I explained.

Levin leaned back in his chair and stared at the ceiling. "So how am I supposed to get him out?"

"It's simple. He going to be waiting in ward 15. Your to meet him there and pick him up. Make sure your wearing a mask, the CCG are prowling that area." I said as Levin got up and began to already grab gear from the locker in my room.

He grabbed his mask and placed it on his face. "I know. I'll be careful."

He threw on his hood over his mask and headed out, into the streets. I stand in my room for a moment, and I'm about to head back to the monitors when I hear a knock at my door.

I open the door to find Rize, a discerning look on her face.

"What's up?" I ask, leaning on the rim of the door.

She pointed at the entrance. "We have visitors." She said.

I tilt my head in confusion, then walk downstairs. I look through the eye hole to see two men outside. One of them is Sasaki, but the other is a large man with a beard, someone I haven't met before. No one has seen Sasaki in awhile.

I open the door. "What's up, Sasaki? Who's your friend?" I ask, nodding to his companion.

Sasaki simply answered. "Can I come in. I have some explaining to do." He said.

I slowly nod and let them in. Whatever it was they wanted, it was something serious. And the air around Sasaki has changed somehow... well... with developments like this...

It will only make my job easier.

Levin POV

Waking up this morning was a challenge. I woke up in Kurona's room, so escaping was hard while trying not to wake her up. She stirred every time I moved.

But I surprisingly escaped with her still sleeping soundly. Sleeping in a girls room was a first for me, and it embarrassed me to the max. But I'm just glad the others didn't see.

Now I'm off to find this Gabe guy. Spying is a serious job, especially when it's on Aogiri. This guy has to be lucky to not be already dead.

I pull the car up to the area I'm picking him up at and I put it in park. Waiting shouldn't be all that bad, I can just play some games on my phone or something.

Outside its raining, a large storm had come and was pelting the streets with hail and bullets of rain. Thunder boomed in the distance, and I jumped after it sounded close. I get myself together and turn on the heater.

It's friggin cold out too, to add to the bad news, the heater is out. I angrily grit my teeth and hit the dashboard at the fans for the heater. Damn machines.

I rubs my shoulders, hugging myself to keep warm. I could see my own breath inside here dang it.

Suddenly, I hear a knock on the opposite window. I unlock the door and let the man get in. He pulls off his mask to show Gabe, just as I saw him in the photo, except a little more tired looking. He had bags under his eyes and his clothes looked ragged and dirty.

"Your Levin, correct?" He asked, rubbing his eyes without looking at me.

I give a brief nod. Gabe then relaxes and runs a hand through his hair, looking out the Windows hesitantly. "Then let's go, those bastard nearly got me about three blocks ago." He said under his breath.

I put the car into drive and head into the highway, making my way to the eleventh ward. "So how'd they find you out?" I asked, curious.

Gabe was quiet for awhile, then shrugged to himself as if thinking, eh, what the heck?

"Got too close to the higher ups too quick. They saw it as suspicious when I knew all your guy's movements and directed them elsewhere." He explained.

"Wait... your the guy keeping Aogiri from finding Nest?" I asked, intrigued.

Gabe nodded, but didn't say anything else as he looked out the window longingly. I didn't know what to say to this man. But all I could tell is I should show some respect, because he's the one that allows us to relax so much.

I look at a sign as we pass another ward, heading into the twelfth ward. I listen to the rain hit the windshield and watch ahead of me on the road.

"Hey... what's Yomo up to these days?" He asked suddenly.

I give some thought into it, then shrug. "I haven't seen Yomo in awhile. But he's with Touka, so I bet he's okay." I said.

Gabe grinned. "Yeah. Touka is the responsible type now, huh?" He said, as if hitting some old memories.

"You know Touka on a personal level?" I asked.

"I guess you could say that... let's just say she saw me the same way she sees Tsukiyama when we first met." He said with a laugh.

"Ouch. You were that bad? Were you a Harmony nut too?" I asked, scooting a bit away.

Gabe was appalled. "Please! I'm nothing like that bastard... but just as bad." He said that last part a bit sadly.

The highway was now high above a large body of the ocean. The harbors were in the distance.

I chose not to pry as we headed into ward 11. But I had to stop due to traffic. We sat in traffic patiently, I was tapping my finger on the wheel as Gabe said something suddenly.

"To our right!" He yelled.

I look to our right just in time to see a big truck arm into the passenger side of our car, and feel myself go zero G for a moment as our car flew off the highway bridge.

My body slammed into the ceiling once our car hit the water.
