"To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; Not only plan, but also believe."

The Old man shook my hand, his hand seemed warm and trusting, but I've met plenty of people that are able to hide their true self, I still don't trust this guy, not one bit, even if he is Yomo's friend or whatever.

"My name is Yoshimura." He introduced himself. I didn't introduce myself because I already knew he knew who I was. Why else would he want to meet me?

"So, what do you want?" I asked, leaning back in the raggedy cushioned seat I was sitting in. I made myself at home, spreading my arms out over the couch and sighing.

He had a blank face on. "I heard from the news that some ghouls were fighting on the high way..." He clicked on the tv that I just noticed in the corner, a small one, but it's a tv.

The news lady was freaking out and over exaggerating at the film of me climbing up on top of the car and making my kagune come out, Yoshimura frowned. "So, a Rinkaku?" He asked.

"Excuse me?" I ask back.

He sighs. "There are specific names for kagune that are on different parts of the body... yours in a Rinkaku." He said.

I sniff and look back at the film, the reporters face looked terrified of when the newscaster crew in the helicopter saw my kagune come out, it looks like wearing my mask was a good idea. My kagune came from my main spinal area, right between my upper spine and lower waist. So that's where a Rinkaku is located...

"And you already made a name for yourself." Said Yoshimura, he sounded disappointed, which I didn't really like, who was he to judge?

The reporter grabbed a file and read off my name the public has given me.

"Knowing a bystander heard one of the men yelled the name, Crow, The people are now calling him that, terrified of this ghouls ability." Said the reporter.

I gulped. It seems that Yomo was calling me that during the attack, but what was our luck someone heard him. Damn, but hey, at least they didn't name me something I didn't like, and once Vin sees this, he'll be laughing his ass off.

Yoshimura turned off the tv and sat down across of me, sipping his coffee and he sighed and looked up at me. "I want to tell you something." He said.

I frown. What could this old man that I just met want to tell me? Why was he so formal with me, as if I was some long lost puppy that he was afraid to touch.

"I used to be in a relationship, with a human, I mean." He said, sipping his coffee again.

I stay quiet. It's not unlikely, ghouls and humans sometimes hook up if they really like each other and can trust one another, like my parents did.

Yoshimura looked at the ceiling as if in a memory. "But when she became pregnant, she didn't want to give up on the baby, so she ate human flesh in order to make it healthy." Said the old man, his face going grim.

"What-" He put a hand up, so I let him finish, I felt as if he was confessing at church of his sins or something.

"For awhile, everything was fine, but... things happened... and now she's dead, and my daughter that was born is lost forever." He said.

He looked up at me. "I need to ask a series of questions... did your mother eat human flesh?" He asked.

I shake my head. "No, my parents didn't have trouble like that. She ate regularly." I said.
