Levin POV

My head shook violently as my eyes lazily opened. The sweet smell of a pasty lifted to my nose, making my body feel hungry, my stomach growled a bit. I looked up at the ceiling to find a face looking down at me, getting closer.

I blush as Kurona puts her forehead to mine, closing her eyes as she does so. I freeze and am unable to move by this gesture. Soon she opens her eyes and lifts her head from mine. "Are you feeling well?" She asked.

She still has that blank face...

"I-I'm fine... what's that smell?" I asked, looking at the coffee table in the room we're in. A piece of still steaming pile sits on a plate, Kurona takes the plate and picks a piece with the fork, putting towards my mouth.

"Say 'aww'." She said with an emotionless voice and face, making it seem all the more adorable as she tried to feed me. I blush and open my mouth, I invited the gesture because my arms felt like they were being weighed under piles of sand, same with the rest of my body.

"Aww." I made a noise to make her happy as she placed the piece into my mouth expertly. She tilts her head at me in question.

"Is it good?" She asked.

I nodded with a smile, trying to hide my blush a bit. "Y-Yeah, it's delicious." I said.

"I made it myself, the kind big brother taught me how." She said as she picked another piece.

"Big brother?... you've always called Haise that, haven't you? He's here?!" I said, getting excited. I've been meaning to meet him in person for awhile. So he did get the message from Tsukiyama. I've been so busy with Amon that I totally forgot about Touka... I feel bad now.

Kurona nods. "Yes. Him and Vincent are downstairs, talking about something." She said.

We were silent for awhile... then I spoke up, trying to pull the awkwardness away from the room. If I stop talking even for a minute, it gets silent. Kurona might not think it weird, but I do.

"H-Hey Yasu... I've been wondering... how has Rize been handling herself?" I asked with concern, not for her wellbeing, but to make sure she ain't going binging lately. No need to make a name for her again after three years of being gone.

Kurona stared long at me, then surprised me with this:

"Why do you still call me by my last name?" She asked with a blunt voice.

I choke on the water I was sipping. I wipe my mouth and scratch my head, trying to think of what to say. "B-Because... in Japanese standards... to call a girl by her first name..." I mumbled.

Kurona got close, her face inches from mine, this made my heart nearly jump out of its chest, like running a marathon once more. It was like this whenever she got too close, why is that?

"Say it." She demanded with no emotion in her voice.

"I-I can't just-" I started.

She got even closer, I could smell her. She smiled like cherries, freshly picked and ready to go on top of a delicious dessert. I suddenly find myself picturing her licking a cherry off whipped cream, very seductively- why am I thinking this!

I shake my head and cough. "Kuro - Yasu..." I said, not being able to say it as I tried it made my chest well up in pain. My face looked preposterous right now I bet.
