Levin POV

Walking into the complex, I instantly take recognition in the fact that the place smells of blood. I cover my nose and wave my hand in the air.

I need to focus. Scanning the room over once more, I sigh when see nothing of note to pay attention to. Except for the blood stains on the walls and floor, nothing.

Chie Hori... she must be very scared right now if she's in this place. Making my way through the decor of the place, a couch or two and a chair that was pushed over.

The stairs that lead to the second floor created under my footsteps. We're the others inside? I listened carefully but I didn't hear anything.

Just as I'm about to make my way all the way up the stairs, a voice stops me in my tracks. Behind me a voice that makes me sick to my stomach.

"Well well~! The Crow appears." Said Furuta, his smile still making me angry.

I stop and glance down the stairs at where he stood. There was a moment of silence between our stares. I then turned around and stared down at him while facing him.

"You have the guts to show yourself in front of me, Furuta?" I asked slowly.

He smiled nervously. "My my. I don't believe we've met though, why the hostility?" He asked as if he were confused.

"You were the one that kidnapped, and mentally tortured Kurona Yasuhisa, a friend of mine." I said, clenching my fists and telling myself to calm down.

He still smiled. "Well... I don't believe that you think of her as a friend, right?" He said, catching me off guard.

"Don't out think it's perfect? A man in love with a girl that is kidnapped, and he valiantly goes to save her! That's fantasy for you." He said, running a hand through his hand to straighten it. Every word he said pissed me off more.

"Why did you do it? Just to figure out how to tick me off?" I asked slowly, taking a step down the stairs, sending a loud creak through the room.

Furuta crossed his arms. "Well, I think I was just getting even." He said.

"What did I ever do to you?" I asked.

Furuta clapped his hands. "Ah, but that's the question of the day isn't it?! What did the Crow, Levin Seto, do to me, poor little Furuta, to make him hate the Crow so much?" He exclaimed, talking in the third person makes him look creepy.

He pointed outside, and grinned. "It is for love! Unrequited love!" He said as if reading from a Shakespeare work.

"Love?" I questioned.

"Yes. Love!" Furuta said, touching his heart. "You see, the woman I gave my heart to has been deceived by a monster, the Crow of all people!" He said.

I think it over for a second, thinking he might be talking about Eto, but there's no way. Then it hit me and I bit my lip under my mask. "You mean Rize? You love Rize?"

Furuta put a thumb up. "Correct! Ding ding!"

"How do you know Rize?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"I grew up with her in the same place that the late king did." He said, smiling at me. Does he mean Arima Kishou?

"There were heirs, boys who were brought up to become the next in line for the Washuu family, the family that head the CCG. And then there were the wombs, women who were to bear the children and we'd the heirs." He explained. "The very thought of Rize being with one of those fat slobs that headed the family made me sick. So I gave her what she wanted. Freedom."
