Nashiro POV

Right when I got back to Re, my world turned upside down. I remember walking into the hall and waiting for a minute or two, then Quinn came out with a sullen look on his face.

At first I was shocked, but who were we kidding? A one and then chance? Only in story book happy ends do these things happen, I should've seen this coming. I should've readied myself for it.

After looking down at the silent sister I had known my whole life I quickly burst into tears and ran out of Re, but after awhile, Rize came to collect me and practically dragged me back.

When I got back...

I walked into the cafe once more. Everyone was gathered in the room, including Levin and Kaneki, who had seemed to get back. I remember that I passed Levin without saying anything before I ran out.

But looking at him now, he looks completely normal. Not hurt, not shocked, nothing but a blank face on his face was there. He started off into nothing, only turning towards the conversation when he was mentioned or he talked.

Touka's eyes were swelled up and a bit red, her voice was shaken when she talked. "So... what do we do with her body?" She asked.

We were all silent, then Rize spoke up. "We can't exactly bury a ghoul in a cemetery. We needed to plan this out." She said, and to my surprise she seemed like her voice was going to break too.

Kaneki sighed, crossing his arms. He didn't look sad, but angry. "Dammit..." he cursed.

Quinn turned to me with a bitter smile. "I'm sorry, Nashiro. I couldn't save your sister." He said, bowing his head.

"It's okay. You did your best." I said, my voice near a whisper.

Quinn also turned to Levin. "I'm sorry, Seto. I knew how much she meant to you... for you to go through all of this for her... you must have really loved her." He said, looking even more sad by the second. This doctor was really beating himself over this.

Levin looked up from playing with his thumbs. "Yeah. I did love her. But that won't change anything." He said, suddenly standing. Everyone seemed surprised on how well he was taking this.

"Are you sure your alright?" Yomo asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Levin glanced back at him, his face still blank. "No, I didn't say that. In fact, I feel like hurting someone right now..." he trailed off.

This shocked all of us. Saying something like that so bluntly... did he finally snap? He was already bent the wrong way, but now that the only thing holding him together is gone...
