Levin POV

The people in the cafe I recognize. They sit and joke while ordering their coffee, except for one of them, who looks confused and disturbed.

That young man again, Sasaki, and his subordinates sat at a table in Re, all of them relaxing apparently. I stared at him for a long time, wondering why he's looking like he is.

Touka takes their orders with the kindest smile I've seen her out on... ever. Was she playing it off because their investigators? Or was she sad about something, that smile had a tinge of sadness, as if remembering something painful.

I look down at their order, as Touka handed it to me, saying that she'd take care of it, going in the back to make it. I keep quiet, trying not to make myself noticed. But luckily they don't notice me.

Touka gives them their coffee, and suddenly... the investigator starts to tear up, after drinking the coffee.

Everyone starts joking, telling him to stop the jokes. He wipes his tears with a napkin Touka handed him.

"It's good... really good." He said slowly while having a gentle smile.

Touka smiled sadly. "Thank you."

She walked to the back, in the kitchen, and I walked in, but stopped myself, hearing something i didn't think was possible.

Touka was sitting at the dining table, her hands enveloped on her face as she wept, tears falling onto the table and her body shook as she breathed in. Why was she crying? Why was she sad back in the cafe?

I frown, seeing Yomo walk past me in the hall, I stop him, grabbing his shoulder. "Who is that investigator? Before it looked as if you knew him, and now Touka is crying over something after seeing him? Your hiding something." I said.

Yomo gave me a blank look, then, "It's nothing you need to know-"

Anger flared in me, and i grabbed Yomo's collar to his shirt, pulling him down to my height, meeting him eye to eye at the same level. My eyeglasses into him.

"I need to know! There's something going on that I don't know about, and I want to know!" I yelled.

Yomo closed his eyes. "Just because-"

"I'm tired of being in the dark!" I yells in his face, making him open his eyes again and glare at me.

"It's none of your business." He said simply.

I flinch, my eyes going wide with surprise. None of... my business? Was it really none of my business? It wasn't... and I know that... but...

I want to know.

I don't care if that sounds selfish, I want to do something to help, I don't care if I have to beat the crap outta someone to do that! I clench my fist harder to the point that I'm almost ripping his shirt.

"fine..." I said, letting go of his shirt and letting my face linger downwards, my hair covering my face, shadowing it.

I brush past Yomo and stop in front of my room. "Then I'm leaving sooner than expected." I said.

Yomo flinched, probably thinking of how Yoshimura would react if i left before my week of training. I don't care if he'll get in trouble.

"But Yoshimura said-" He started again, but i interrupt him, annoying him a bit.
