"Its easier to forgive an enemy than a friend."
- William Blake

Kurona POV

We all sat and stayed quiet for a long time. Ayato and Kaneki pulled everyone together to think of what to do next, but now we all were quiet.

I didn't know what to say or do. None of us expected this from Levin. The building that collapsed, the skyscraper, was said to have killed around 30 people, and they still aren't even a bit through the wreckage.

Along with about 100 lives being lost of people that worked in the offices in that building, this was labeled as a massacre. On the news the CCG said they would counteract with a new hunt for the organization that call themselves Nest.

Why would he use that name? That makes it seem like the old Nest is the same as this one. It makes me angry, I wish Levin was here so he could explain.

I grabbed my head and shook it, clenching my fists onto my hair in frustration. I felt a light touch on my shoulder, I glanced over to find Touka giving me a short grim smile. She then turned to the others.

"We need to figure out what to do next." She claimed.

Ayato scratched his head. "Yeah, well.... easier said than done. We have no idea how to contact Lev or the others; and who is to say Rize and Nashiro are with Lev?" He wondered.

Tsukiyama crossed his arms and frowned. "Then where would they be?" He asked.

"I dunno!" Ayato said in frustration, Touka put her hand out to make him calm down.

"We need to stay calm. First, we know that something had to have happened for him to become like this. It's happened before, him changing personalities." Touka exclaimed.

Nishiki raised his hand as if he were in class. "Yeah, but can we please address why Lev called out Kaneki, calling him the One Eyed King? I know that Arima guy wanted Kaneki to become that, but he's not, right?"

Kaneki pursed his lips. "It was a claim. He was saying that if we got in his way, he'd hurt us." He said.

I stood and raised my voice. "He would never do that!" I yelled. This made everyone jump, except Kaneki, who met my glare.

"I'm sorry Yasuhisa. But he obviously isn't doing this for some half assed reason. Plus, he has already killed hundreds of people. The news reports won't stop... he's ordering his people to attack CCG doves that are hunting him every chance he gets-" I interrupt him.

"He's just doing it in self defense-!"

"Yasuhisa!" Kaneki yelled, making me freeze. I hadn't seen Kaneki raise his voice in a long time. "The people he has killed, he has done for no reason. The reason he is doing this is because he doesn't want us in his way when he's hunting V."

Ayato cursed under his breath, and then walked out of the room in an irritated mood. Hinami sees this and follows, giving us all a look. Half worry and half anger. Ayato must be feeling some mixed vibes, him and Levin are best friends.

Touka looked over at Kaneki. "Then what do we do? Just stay still and let him do these things?" She guessed.

Kaneki looked down at the table, then glanced behind him. He was looking at his mask that was laid out on top of a drawer. He walked over to it and picked it up in his hands.

After a moment he spoke. "Then I'll become the King." He said.

"Are you sure?" Touka asked, sounding a bit worried.
