The cameras footage played out in front of me live. I frown, seeing the development. We were too slow on stopping this. Well, either way, it would've happened.

Balance must be achieved, no matter what.

I look over at another camera and my frown deepens, let's hope that Seto boy can survive this, we need him if we're going to achieve our main goal. I glance at the person next to me, seeing his face turn to disgust.

"You shouldn't look at family that way." I said, without looking away from the screen.

He squinted at me. "Shut it... you keeping me here is enough, but looking at one of my experiments alongside that thing makes me sick. She has been tainted by him, making her soft." He mumbled in anger.

I glare at him. "You will not harm him. Remember, your our prisoner." I said with a smirk.

"Taking me from Aogiri will make them angry, y'know." He said, in a warning tone.

I laugh. "They don't even know we exist. The only one that does is a wondering old man." I said.

"What about Vincent? He obviously knows about you, plenty." He said with poison laced in his words.

I frown. "Vincent will come back. He just hasn't seen the cruel reality of this world yet. He left us because he wanted to find another way... He is wrong ." I said as I stood and walked to the door.

"Keep watching at your leisure, doctor." I said as I stepped out into the light.

Levin POV

The moment I opened that door, I felt a feeling wash over me. Kurona seemed to freeze in place, fear taken over her. Her eyes were wide and full of terror I've never seen before, as if remembering something.

I stare at the boy in front of us. He seems a bit older than me, maybe in his early twenties? He had a wig on, I could tell it was a boy by the smell... is that weird?

I see the case in his hand and I shiver, stay in as still as I could as if he might not see me if I don't move. He tilts his head, then smiles at Kurona.

"Is that you? Kurona-chan~! I haven't seen you in years~!" He said in a playful voice, a smile creeping up on his face.

I get to Kurona's side and try to help her off her knees, but she shakes me off, clenching her head and sniffling, is she crying? Is that how scary this guy is?

I glare at the boy as he makes his quinque appear. "Looks like I have to clean up my mess from last time, huh?" He said in an innocent tone.

I get in front of Kurona and make my Kagune fly out of my back, widening my defence around her. "Who are you?" I said in a commanding tone.

"I'm Susuya! Nice to meet you~! Who are you?" He asked.

I frown. "Crow." I said shortly.

Susuya has a straight face on, and suddenly sticks his tongue out. "Eeewwww! Your that hybrid! Wait-! I get to kill you, yay~!" He said with a childish laugh and pulled up his scythe looking quinque.

I gulp and glance at Kurona. "Get out of here. Take the exit and get as far as you can from here." I said, ignoring that pained look in her eyes.

I get in a fighting stance, bending my knees and putting me hands out in front of me, as Susuya smiles, practice swinging around himself. Kurona cried, but stood and ran out of the room, bursting through an exit and out into the streets.
