Levin POV

The knock at my apartment shook me awake, my groggy eyes with sleep in them I wiped, getting to see straighter. I stayed up too late last night. I slowly get out of bed and throw on some pants, walking slowly to the door.

I grabbed the handle and turned it, opening it slightly. My eyesight was blurry, but I saw an outline of a girl with teal hair. I stared at her for a long time, then rubbed my eyes again, squinting at her.

There stood the same exact girl I had met a few days ago, a giant smile on her face and she looked excited for some reason. "Hello, Crow-kun~!" She waved at me cheerfully.

I then slammed the door shut. I stood there for a long time, but then another knock came to my door, and I slightly opened it again. She stood there with a puffed up whining face. "That wasn't very nice!" She said. "Treat ladies with more respect!"

"What are you doing here?!?" I whisper yelled, looking around to see if anyone was watching. "You just tried to kill me a few days ago!"

"Not kill. More like injure. Either way, I just wanted a chance to talk!" She explained, making hand motions in a comical way. "Now get dressed! We're going out!" She demanded. "Unless you want me to get angry?" She had a smirk on her face.

I nodded quickly before going to my closet. "Y-Yeah, anything but that!" I'm really scared of this girl right now. If she wanted, she could slaughter me like cattle and eat me in a nice hamburger.

Soon I have a flannel shirt on and jeans, I walk out next to her and she instantly grabs my hand, pulling me down the stairs into the street. "C'mon! Your so slow!" She said quickly.

"Your just too fast!" I said back, as she pulled me close to her, putting her arm through mine. I blushed a bit, but looked away. "Why are you doing that?"

"Doing what~?" She smirked at me.

I smile nervously. "N-Never mind."

She pulled me into a cafe, sat me down at a table, and when the waiter came, she ordered an coffee and then looked at me. "And you?"

I look at the menu and sigh. "BLT and an Italian soda please." I said, the waiter nodded then walked into the back to give the chefs the order.

"I've been wondering... what's your real name?" I asked.

She smiled. "Just call me Takatsuki Sen. Call me by my first name!" She declared, making me fidget. But I ignored it as best as I could, to call a Japanese girl by her first name... I've never done that before.

"You mean that famous author?!" I said quickly.

She nods happily. "Do you read my works?"

"Not really, but I've heard a lot about them... then why are you with Aogiri?" I said as I looked around us to make sure we were out of ear shot from everyone there.

She smiled. "That's personal... but let's talk about you... I'm intrigued by your very existence... it makes me..." she leaned forward and got close to my ear. "Tingle with excitement." She whispered as she lightly licked the edge of my ear.

I went bright as a tomato and I pulled back, I couldn't speak, I was stumbling on what to say. She then looked to our side, our order came. The waiter smiled, it was an old man, probably in his fifties.

"Its so nice to see a young couple, have fun you two." He said with a smile, walking off.

"C-Couple! B-But-!" I started.

Takatsuki cheered. "Yay! We look like love birds~! Wanna order one of those lovey dovey drinks to make it obvious?" She said with excitement.

"N-No... wait... you think this is... a... a..." I couldn't say it, my face was on fire. And I found myself scratching my neck in nervousness.

She finished for me. "A date! Yes this is, my little friend!" She said.

"But aren't you like... in your twenties?" I asked. "I'm only nineteen." I mumbled.

"Don't remind me." She said under her breath. Then she went back to cheery. "I'm 26 years old, but that's ok, we can still go on dates!" She said.

"This isn't a date!" I demanded.

She smirked. "Then it's... ah! A secret rendezvous!" She clapped.

I face palmed as I found that I can't win against this girl. What an oddball. But I guess I'm used to oddballs.

"So... where were you born, Levin?" She asked as she stirred her coffee with a straw, eying me up.

I looked down at my drink, the wet and cold cup left water on my hands. The BLT smelled delicious, but I felt I should wait for the conversation to be over until I start to eat, otherwise it'd be rude.

"I was born in the U.S., but my father was Japanese, so that's why my last name is Seto." I explained.

She frowned. "Father... he was the ghoul?" She cupped her hands around her mouth as if to be sneaky.

I nodded and sighed. "I never really saw him that much... but when I did he'd always give me new things..."

"What kind of things?" She asked, intrigued.

I smile a bit thinking about it. "When I was five, he got me a tricycle... and when I was seven, he gave me a tub full of toys... he played catch with me on my tenth birthday... but... he was always gone, making sure that I'd never be found." I said, my face becoming a sad one.

Takatsuki had a straight face, then reached across the table and grabbed my hands, squeezing them. "Hey... loss is one of the things people overcome and live for... all we can do is live through loss... remember that." She smiled sadly.

"That's pretty deep..." I mumbled, looking at our hands. Takatsuki smiled as she let go and stood.

"Lets go, I have somewhere I want to show you." She said with a sweet accent.

She led me out of the shop, and left a tip for the waiter. I didn't eat my BLT, but I did bring my soda with me, drinking it through a straw. She eyed me drinking it. "What does that taste like?" She asked.

"Blueberry... but you probably don't know what that tastes like either... sorry." I mumbled.

She shrugged it off and turned a corner quickly. I stumbled to keep up, but as I turned the corner, I'm suddenly pulled into an alley, the small hand was no doubt Takatsuki.

She then slammed me against the wall, making my head ache a bit. She placed both of her hands on my chest, getting close to my face. She smiled seductively. "I guess this will have to do for now, Levin-kun... call me when you want to talk... but if we find each other in a battle field, then I'm afraid I'll have no choice but to fight you." She said into my ear.

I slowly nodded as she skipped a business card into my shirt pocket and leaned up, lightly kissing my cheek. I froze as she skipped out of the alley and down the street.

S-she... kissed my cheek.... s-she kissed my cheek...

That thought lingers over and over as I stumble back to my apartment.
