Nashiro POV

I sat in front of the TV, the news chopper with the breaking news was filming near Rue island now. I watched dozens of boats surround the island.

"The CCG finally have the ghouls cornered, it seems. But what are they waiting for?" Said the lady in the chopper, the camera watched down below as she spoke.

That's what I was wandering, they had surrounded the island a few minutes ago. I hear the sound of footsteps and glance behind me and see Rize in the doorway, looking at the TV also with a worried face.

"Rize, do you think they'll be alright?" I asked, concerning Levin and the others. They didn't tell me anything, neither to anyone else.

Rize gave me a shrug, walking around the couch and sitting next to me. "I don't know. Levin said if we knew what he was doing we'd interfere." She muttered.

I glance back at the TV and watch for a few minutes as the camera crew just shoots the island. There was silence in the break room, I huddled up and hugged my knees, and Rize gave me a nudge.

"They'll be fine... Levin and the others have been through worse." She said, trying to cheer me up.

I give her a nod just as we hear a yell in the hall. Me and Rize jump up in surprise and slowly walk to the doorway. As we peek out, we see Touka glaring angrily at Yomo.

"They told you, didn't they? They asked you if you were coming. They must have told you." She said. Yomo just stared down at her with a blank look. No one could really tell what he was thinking at times like these.

Touka grit her teeth and pushed him on his chest, making him stumble a bit. "Tell me, Dammit!" She yelled.

Yomo made his face into a frown and stared down at his feet, determined not to talk. It seemed that Touka was going to yell again, but Rize stepped forward also.

"She is right. Tell us, Renji." She said, giving him a straight face.

Yomo's expression didn't change, only hardened with resolve as he tried to walk down the hall. I call out from the tension getting to me.

"M-Mr. Yomo... I want... I want to help Levin. Will you please tell us?" I asked slowly and in a small voice. I said this without even thinking, I know Levin would object but whether he liked it or not I wanted to know what he was getting into.

Yomo stopped and glanced behind at me, locking our eyes. For a moment it seems like he's going to turn again and leave, but he sighs instead.

"Fine." He said shortly.

Touka let out a breath of relief, and gave me a thumbs up. Rize gave me another nudge. Yomo crossed his arms and began to speak about Levin and the others plan.

We left in a hurry to stop them.

Levin POV

I jumped back and then sidestepped to my right as one of Eto's arms smashed the ground. My kagune slashes her across the shoulder, smashing right through her Kakuja with ease.

"Ah, that kagune of yours is even stronger than my Kakuja? How stimulating!" Eto said with a demonic voice, a bunch of tendrils shooting out and grazing me some.

I stab her leg and throw myself over on top of her back, with my other talon I stab straight into the back. I need to aim for the core, where her real body is. I'll destroy her.
