Saiko POV

"Operation what?" I said with a nervous smile as Shirazu starts to crack up at Juuzo's suggestion.

Juuzo was to help us on our investigation, but only planning it, he's too busy trying to find leads on Crow. Which he seems so excited about, it makes me tired just looking at how energetic he can be.

Juuzo grinned. "It has a funny ring to it! Operation Ball Slapper! Get it! Because your gonna-"

"Okay, we get it. Pushing that to the side, I'm sure we'll crack this case easily!" Sasaki said with a silly smile, making one of his famous bad puns.

All the men in the room flinched at that, seeing as we were talking about nuts cracking. Sasaki flinched himself and mumbled a sorry as he worked back into his seat.

I'm fully aware that Sassan worked with ghouls, but to what he said, they were interesting people. I can't see things his way though, they still terrify me greatly.

"Where are we deploying?" Asked Mutsuki.

"We found where she was hiding when we went searching, she's in the 16th ward. She moved more closer to the CCG to get us confused." Sasaki explained, rubbing his chin. "She's in an old apartment complex. Which means there will be civilians there, so their safety during the operation is top priority."

We all nod as Juuzo nodded in exception. "Well, that's my call! See you, Sassan!" He said as he walked out of the room, leaving all of us alone as we got ready to move.

Sasaki lead us down to the van as we climbed in, I sat in the front with him. He clicked his seat belt on and glared at me to do the same, I groan and click mine on, I don't like seatbelts, their constricting.

I sigh and stare out the window, as Sasaki starts the car and drives out of the parking lot.

After awhile, I speak up, getting bored. "How do those ghouls treat you?" I asked.

Sasaki didn't flinch or anything, but kept his eyes on the road and bit his lip a little, but sighed. "I don't see what's to worry about. Their fine. Some of them are friends." I asked.

I watch him for awhile then look out in front. "What about that ballista girl at Re?" I asked.

Sasaki glanced over at me, blinking at my question. "Who, Touka? She's fine, I guess." He said, confused by my question.

"Thats not what I meant, I meant how is it going with her?" I asked with trying to emphasize some words to make it more clear.

Sasaki seemed to frown and tilt his head as if thinking on what up said very hard, maybe I should just let him drive, but I want to here this. I need to make sure he's doing this right.

"I still don't get what your asking." He finally admitted, sighing in a defeated way.

I smirk. "I mean have you busted any moves on her!" I said while elbowing him playfully.

This successfully makes his face slowly turn beet red as almost sway off the road. He shakes his head rapidly, trying to get it out of his system. "I-I don't know what you mean!" He said, but he obviously did by now.

"So pure. It's obvious you like her." I said matter of factly. Sasaki's face turned to embarrassed to confused, and then deep thought. Maybe he decided to stop talking about it? Oh well, I got the reaction I wanted.

The van suddenly stops as Sasaki shuts down the car and opens the window to the back, where the others were. "We're here, get ready." He ordered.

??? POV

I frown down at the papers on my desk as I squint down at the words. So, Kaneki Ken is working both sides. While cooperating with his old ghoul friends, and some new ones, he also is an investigator.

Not acceptable.

I sigh and slump in my chair, spinning to my window over the city. This is my city, I cannot allow it to go unbalanced. And people like Levin and Ken are ones that simply either have to choose a side, or they must be neutralized.

No doubt once I make this decision, it will only make the Crow more curious of us. But Vincent will stray him away if he's smart, he knows all too well what we can do.

I look down at Kaneki Ken's file and frown as I pick up one of the two stamps on my desk and plunge it onto the dry paper.

As a grin spreads across my face I cross my arms and chuckle. "Now Centipede, show me how much more pain you can go through before I can break you." I murmur as I start to laugh at the thoughts beaming into my mind.

On the paper, in the red ink that was now plastered on it read:

"TO BE NEUTRALIZED"
