"The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from an enemy."

Two days later...

Levin POV

I walked up next to the door of the large building, looking up at it. A frown grew on my face, just as one of the men I sent in walked up to me and bowed on his knees.

"It is done, we have the building under our control." He said under his mask, shaped as a white bird.

"Good. I'm coming up. Is everything set up? We need to hurry before the police come." I said, pulling gloves on and my mask from my bag as I walk past him and he follows.

"Everything is ready, sir. We have about twenty minutes until the media catches whiff of the news channel not on. I'm excited for your speech myself." He said, his voice certainly sounded pleased.

I glanced at him and sigh. "Sure. Are you sure our hackers can keep the broadcast on long enough for me to finish?" I asked.

He nodded to this, putting his hands behind his back and bowing once more as we made it to the elevator, which was covered with blood. "Me and my men will hold the lodge, good luck sir."

"Thank you." I said, then turned before I let the elevator door shut. "Remember your orders."

He nods and turns towards his men, ordering them around. The elevator door closed, and I pressed the button to the filming room. I wait patiently as the music in the small room plays, and I watch the number grow higher.

Rounding up everyone that had been in Aogiri was an easy feat. And they were more than happy to follow me. I look down at my mask in my hand and stare into the eyes of the mask. I am the Crow now... no turning back.

I place the mask over my face, and switch the voice changer on. Catching a glance of the dead office worker on the ground of the elevator, my gaze but glazed past it and waited for the door to open.

As it opened, a number of people bowed to me. I look to the end of the hall to find Rize, her own mask standing out from the rest. She was not bowing, and was leaning against the door frame to the filming room.

I walked forward as they all stayed quiet, and I made it to Rize. We stared at each other, we couldn't see each other's faces but we knew what the other was thinking.

I give her a nod and walk through the door, and sit on my seat in front of the camera. I ignored the news cast members that were tied up whimpers.

The ghoul monitoring the camera gave me a thumbs up.

Now... to become the antagonist of this story. I let myself grow a smile, and crossed my legs and arms in relaxation.

"Begin."

Kurona POV

I flick through channels with Nishiki, he seemed to be keeping me company since Levin and the others left. I felt left out, and lonely. I would've thought Levin would've brought me with him, but I guess he trusts Rize and my sister more.

Or does he just not want me to get hurt?

I hope that's the true reason.

I curl up and hug my knees, flipping another channel. I sighed from boredom, without the others here I couldn't do anything fun. I miss them.

"Stop moping, I bet they'll be back in no time." Nishiki said, waving his hand about and trying to cheer me up in a negative way. He wasn't the best motivator.
