Shikamarus pov
"I'm home!" I announced as I arrived home from work. Usually around this time I'm greeted by my adorable boyfriend neji but all I was greeted with was silence.
Feeling confused by this I decided to search the house for him. I eventually found my short boyfriend fast asleep next to several books filled with info on the akaski.
"oh neji" I sighed as I took my jacket off and wrapped it over his shoulders "your always working so hard my darling. Do you ever give yourself time to rest?"
Well there's no way I'm letting him sleep on a hard desktop. What kind of boyfriend would I be if I did that? A crummy one that's for sure! So with that thought in mind I picked him up and carried him to our bedroom.
I lay him down on our bedsheets and placed a kiss on his forehead. I couldn't help but smile. I was small but neji was even smaller than me so my jacket was huge on him! He looked absolutely adorable just sleeping like that.
I lay next to him and held his hand in mine. I ended up staring at his sleepy figure until I fell asleep myself.
