Lee's pov
I paced back and forth inpatiently. My teammate/rival neji was late for our training! Argh I'm so angry I could scream!
"how could he do this to us tenten" I muttered angrily "doesn't he know we have a good thing going!"
"Lee cut it out. You sound like a needy boyfriend" tenten sighed.
"hey I do not!" I yelled "besides my heart only belongs to sakura-chan!"
"still his tardiness is unacceptable" guy sensai muttered "I'll have to have a talk with him when he gets here"
Then as if by magic neji arrived.
"neji I hope you have a good explanation for-" I was about to go into my rant on the importance of training when something caught me off guard by something...
Neji was smiling!
"oh Lee we're you about to say something?" neji smiled brightly. It was a little off putting.
"Umm-well-I-I" I tried my best to find the right words but I couldn't!
Luckily guy sensai knew just how to handle the situation!
"neji your ten minutes late for your training. I hope you have a good explanation for this!"
"oh sorry sensai. I lost track of time with-" then he just started giggling! I was so shocked that I almost screamed. The others looked just as shocked "anyways I'm here now so shall we get started"
"ah just give us a second my boy" guy sensai said as he dragged me and tenten away into a group huddle.
"I've never seen neji this happy before" tenten muttered.
"yes it is indeed strange" I nodded in agreement.
"then it's decided" guy sensai grinned "tomorrow we'll follow neji around to find out what's making him smile"
"you mean stalk him" tenten raised an eyebrow.
"yes but for his own good!" guy sensai gave us the thumbs up "now let's act natural so he doesn't suspect a thing!"
We nodded and returned to our usual stances. Neji tilted his head in confusion. He doesn't suspect a thing!
I grinned excitedly to myself. Guy sensai really is a genius!
