I've been visiting these woods for some time now and it's been rather pleasant dispite the threat of my life hanging on the line every time I visit.
I guess I've got shikamaru to thank for that.
He's so interesting. He doesn't really understand many things seeing as he was raised in the woods but he's also really intelligent. He'd be a real genius if he was given the same opportunities as the rest of us.
"look at that. The moons shining down from the trees" shikamaru pointed out.
I looked up and so it was. It was shining through the trees like a spotlight.
"it's beautiful" I whispered.
He nodded and held his hand out with a smile "care for a dance?"
I blushed. What a strange request to make. I took his hand slyly. He grinned and pulled me closer as we stepped into the moonlight.
We danced the ballroom dance together. I felt a strange feeling take over me as we looked into each others eyes. Without really thinking about it I leaned in and kissed him...
