I clung to my uncles sleeve nervously as we walked down the narrow road. Just recently we were burnt out of our own home by our neighbours, leaving us no choice but to travel to the south to seek refuge.
"papa do you think we'll be safe in the south?" hannabi asked nervously.
Uncle forced a reassuring smile "of course my child. It will be a little hard at first but eventually it will feel just like home"
We nodded as we forced smiles on our faces. It's times like this that we need to stay positive.
We arrived at the south and after going through tons of paperwork we finally got a house to call our own.
Hopefully things will get better from here.
