Kamala and Doug's big surprise

Lexie and Bella's swimming part 2

I would like to thank KamalalovezDoug for her help with writing this 💕

Kamala puts on Bella's swim suit, hat, and diaper, while Doug puts on Lexie's.

Doug- "come here so I can put sunscreen on you, can the babies wear it"

Kamala- "no they can't until they are 6 months old, so that's why I want to go in the pool with them now, while it's still early, and not that sunny yet."

Doug- "okay"

~in the pool~

Kamala is holding Bella, and Doug is holding Lexie.

As soon as Kamala sits on the bottom step and Lexie feels the water on her legs, she starts to cry a little.

Kamala- "Lexie, it's okay, I know the water is a little cold, it's okay, Momala has you, once you are a little older, swimming is so much fun, there are toys you get to play with it, there's float that you can lay on, your cousin Amara loves to go swimming"

Doug- "Yeah, you hear that Bella?"

Kamala- "there's the smile I love, I think your liking it now a little bit now, Momala's going to get your float that she bought for you and your sister"

Doug- "Honey, let me hold Lexie, so you can get up, and we can put their floats on them"

Kamala- "Dougie, I can walk over to the side of the pool I have them right on the edge"

Doug- "okay"

Lexie and Bella's floats

Kamala has Lexie all buckled into her float, and Doug has Bella all buckled into her float.

Kamala- "Dougie, I think Lexie likes it, look she's smiling, and she splashed some water on me, Lexie, you got mommy wet"

Doug- "I see that, you like this Lexie"

Lexie smiles. 

Doug- "so is Bella, she's smiling and she splashed me"

Kamala- "I see that, and it's been 10 minutes, let's get them out, Lexie looks like she's getting cold, and I don't want them to get sick"

Doug- "okay, your right so is Bella, I will hold their floats, and you get out then I will give you Lexie"

Kamala- "Lexie, I know your getting cold, Momala's going to take your float off and we are going to get out of the pool and into some warm and dry clothes"

Kamala unsnaps Lexie from her float and she picks her up, and Doug unsnaps Bella from her float and picks her up, and they are out of the pool.

Kamala puts on Lexie's hooded bath towel, and is holding her. While Doug has Bella all wrapped up in her hooded bath towel.

Kamala, Doug, Lexie, Bella are now in the family room.

Kamala is wrapped up in her Minnie Mouse towel as well, and Doug has his towel  wrapped around his waist.

Kamala- "Dougie, let's get them out of their wet suits, I think their 1st time in the pool went okay, there were a few tears but once we put them on their floats, they were splashing us"

Doug- "you're right, I think they liked it"

Kamala is changing Lexie and she puts on her rash cream, and a dry diaper and her onesie and she snaps her onesie and she puts on her pj's.  "Lexie did you have fun swimming"

Lexie smiles

Doug changes Bella out of her swim suit, and he puts on a dry diaper, her rash cream, then he puts on her onesie, and snaps it up, and then he puts on her pj's. "Did you have fun Bella"

Bella smiles.
