First Impressions - Jeon Jungkook

"What? Your cheeks are red and cute."

Walking down the road she knew all so well, Lamia came across a peculiar sight.

A cat. A black cat. A black, furry cat that was lying on the side of the road.

Coming closer to it, her breath escaped her as she realised the abnormal amount of blood surrounding the tomcat. There was blood on the road, the pavement and on the cat itself.

'What happened here!?' She thought, she hid her face in her hands as she thought of the worst...

Then, through her blurry eyes, she saw movement. The slight twitching of the cat's ear filled her with hope.

She went over to the cat and lowered herself on her knees. She saw the cat's leg where it should not be and a recent skid mark that told a terrible story.

Looking at the tomcat's face, she noticed its hooded eyelids glaring at her.

Bringing her hand up to pat his head, she flinched when she heard the cat's strained hissing.

"It's okay kitty, I'm going to get you somewhere safe." She whispered, gently stroking the cat's head. The hissing turned into quiet purrs as she caressed its back.

Full of conviction, she carefully brought the cat into her arms, slightly wincing at the blood. She brought herself up but stopped when a masculine hand pressed onto her shoulder.

"Don't." A deep voice said, Lamia couldn't help but shudder at the harshness of the voice she was hearing. "If you don't want yourself to be stained with blood, I suggest you stop."

She turned her head around to face the unknown man, freezing when she saw him.

God, he looked so handsome. Seemingly soft brown locks, plump but thin lips, and brown eyes which were cold at the sight of her.

"...But, I have to do something..." She finally said, quietly as to not anger the boy who was in front of her. He honestly looked to be the same age as her.

The boy sighed as he removed his hand, "Well, I'll help you." He said with a small smile that killed Lamia.

'Okay, Lamia control your heart, he looks like a guy that will break you in seconds but WHY IS HE SO GODDAMN HOT!?!?'

She moved her body fully to face him and admired the way his hands skilfully took the cat into his arms so carefully. What got her thinking, however, was how the cat let him take it without a second thought.

The boy made sure the injured tomcat was comfortable before looking at Lamia, "Are you coming with me to the clinic?" He asked, she nodded immediately and they both walked off.

They had arrived at the clinic where the cat was taken into custody as soon as possible. Lamia and the stranger who had helped her were sitting in the reception, waiting for the news.

'Here I am with a guy I don't even know... Mom will strangle me to death.' Lamia thought as she sat in the busy room.
