'Of course she wouldn't be impressed Jimin, did she even like you back then?'

Jimin was waiting in the relatively short line for his morning coffee.
It was a peaceful morning and the café wasn't too busy.

A small commotion at the front made the baristas have to clean up a bit so his wait was prolonged, not that he minded.
He was off from work this day and didn't have many plans.

The front door's bell clinged, signally the entrance of a new customer.
When he glanced to see who it was, he was stunned.

It was one of his close friends from high school.
They hadn't seen each other for a few years as the girl had moved out into the main city.

"Y/N? Annyeong."
He addressed her politely, smiling when she recognised him.

"Jimin! I didn't think I'd see you this soon."
She bowed her head slightly when she smiled.

"Back in Busan for a holiday?"
He asked, she shook her head.

"Moved here last week permanently, missed the sea."
She giggled and he missed it dearly.

"How are you and your boyfriend?"
He questioned again, just in case.

You see, he had a thing for Y/N.
Though he never did anything major, most people at their school thought they liked each other.

They were extremely close, almost like best friends, but neither said anything about their feelings.
Even more so since Y/N got a boyfriend a few months before graduation.

They both moved to Seoul in fact.
Jimin didn't dislike the guy, after all his feelings weren't too major.

"Ah, we're not together anymore." She looked down awkwardly at her feet.
"We just didn't feel suited to each other anymore."

Jimin nodded, maybe she moved back because of her boyfriend too?
Shaking the thoughts out, he gave her a smile when she looked back up again.

"I'm still looking for a guy though." She giggled, trying to make the air less tense.
"If you have any recommendations, let me know." She said jokingly.

An idea sparked in Jimin's head.
She was joking but it couldn't hurt to try and ask.

He inhaled for some confidence.
"Actually I do know one, in fact he's here right now."

"Oh jinja?"
She started looking around with raised eyebrows, "Where?"

Y/N looked back at Jimin "Oh..."
She didn't sound quite disappointed, but not quite excited either.

Jimin was mentally suffering from embarrassment.
'Of course she wouldn't be impressed Jimin, did she even like you back then?'

She placed her hands on her hips with a teasing look.
"Are you asking me on a date Jimin?"

"Well, if you're not busy."
He winked playfully, causing them both to laugh.

Y/N gave himself a wide smile.
"I would love to."

Jimin stopped himself from jumping up in joy.
He felt more happier than he thought he would be if she agreed.
