The text I got as I was finishing up with work had me worried.

It was from my wife and she rarely texted me anything like this whilst I was working, other than notices and cute love messages.

She had never asked me to outright come home.

Furrowing my eyebrows, I quickly put on my coat and went out of my office.
'I hope everything is okay.'

"Oh Jimin-sshi, off work early?"
One of my co-workers asked me.

"My wife asked me to come back, I think it's urgent. I've finished my work, tell the boss that it's in my office if he needs it."
My colleague nodded and we both bowed to each other.

I rushed out of the building and headed to the parking lot.
The harsh cold wind warned me that there might be traffic.

It had been snowing the past few days and delays were made.
The congestion even carried over to now when most of the snow had gone.

I started up my car and quickly set out.
When I reached the traffic lights of a busy cross-section, I began tapping my finger against the wheel.

She seemed different.
Maybe something happened but wouldn't she just tell me over the phone if that was just the case?

As the traffic flowed better than I thought I would, I quickly had to slam my foot on the brakes.
A kid went to get his football which was wandering on the road.

I waved him off quickly as he gave an apology and immediately drove off again.
Impatience and worry, two key factors taking me home.

Soon enough, I reached our residence.

I entered the house, keys opening the front door with ease.
"Y/N? I'm home~"

I said, trying to conceal my anxiousness,
She appeared from the stairs, hands behind her back.

She... was glowing.

"Y/N, is everything okay?"
She came in front of me and brought out her hands.

I took one look at the object and smiled instantly.
She giggled, tears in her eyes.

"Surprise."
She said, handing over the pregnancy stick which had the results, positive.

I quickly hugged her.
"The best surprise jagiya."
