The dreaded alarm rings and Jungkook quickly throws his arm to silence it, before rubbing his eyes. He begrudgingly sits up, stretching lazily as he looks over at the stirring woman beside him.
"Morning Kookie..." She whispers, a small smile playing on her face when she first opens her eyes to see him.
"Morning Y/N, my sweetheart." He leans down to kiss her forehead, his arms snaking around her waist and sighing.
"Get up mister, I doubt CEO Kim will be happy if you're late for the meeting." She chuckles, making her husband groan.
"I forgot about that." Reluctantly, he lets go of her and begins to start his morning routine: going to the bathroom, brushing his teeth and taking a shower.
He's already tightening his tie when Y/N finally decides to roll out of bed.
"Stay in bed jagi, it's early and I can make breakfast quickly on my own." He quickly states before going into the bathroom again to fix his hair.
He doesn't expect a blazer to already be out, lying on the bed for him. And he certainly doesn't expect for said bed to be empty.
He makes his way downstairs, the air being filled with the aroma of his favourite breakfast. A half smile appears as he walks to the kitchen where his wife is, sneaking over.
He suddenly rests his chin on her shoulder, chuckling when she flinches in surprise.

"Jungkook, it's too early for you to be scaring me." She giggles.
"Well, you didn't have to do this~" He says, referring to their meal in the making, giving her a backhug full of gratitude.
"And so my punishment is being scared?" He hums in response, eyes wide as he hears his own stomach grumble shortly afterwards.
Y/N laughs heartily, Jungkook nuzzling his head further into their embrace. She lifts a sample of the food for him to try, like a mother asking her child if it tastes good.
Then again, he does act like a kid sometimes to wind her up. "Perfect, as always, just like you."
She turns her head, pecking him on his nose as pink tints her cheeks. "If I'm 'perfect', I doubt there's a word I can use to describe you."
