It was a bright, sunny day; perfect for going to the park.
Jungkook thought it wouldn't hurt taking a short walk but then he found a quiet area with a massive oak tree and couldn't help but sit down in the cool shade.

Small glints of sunlight filtered through the tree's leaves, shifting as the soft breeze made the branches sway.

He felt relaxed after a stressful night staying up for his job and decided to sing a little.

"Can we... We keep... Keep each other Company? Oh.
Maybe we... Can be... Be each other's Company? Oh Company."

He smiled to himself as he rested his head against the tree trunk, continuing.

"Let's set each other's lonely nights.
Be each other's paradise.
Need a picture for my frame,
Someone to share my reign."

He closed his eyes and let himself drift into a separate reality from where he was.

"Tell me what you wanna drink.
Tell you what I got in mind.
Oh-"

"You're wonderful at singing."

He sat up, startled.
A woman looked at him worryingly, "Ah forgive me, I didn't mean to scare you."

Jungkook watched her squirm under his gaze.
"I just wanted to say that I liked your voice." She said in a quieter voice, embarrassed and awkward.

Jungkook smiled at her, no one other than his close friends and family had complimented his voice, he didn't really sing in public.

"Thank you, I really appreciate it." He replied, making the girl give him a relieved smile back.

Now that he was looking into her eyes, he could see the beauty in front of him.

She seemed to be the type of person that would shy away completely when she was uncomfortable but who would be so caring to the people she adored.

He liked the genuine look of happiness on her face and the flowy summer dress she was wearing. He also saw a gentle warmth in her eyes.

"Can you sing it again?" The girl said, bringing Jungkook back to reality.

"O-oh sure." He said, looking at the grass to calm himself.

"Oh I don't know your name.
But I feel like that's gonna change.

You ain't gotta be my lover.

Never been about no pressure.
Ain't that serious, no.

He sang the long, high notes effortlessly, gaining a dropped jaw from the girl.
When he finished, he looked at her with a bunny smile.

"That, that was amazing!" She looked at him with a look of awe.

He patted the spot next to him, suddenly feeling a little confident.
"Would you like to hear more?" He asked, his heart beating rapidly in his chest.

She looked down, "If it's not too much trouble."
She looked back up with pink-tinted cheeks.

"I wouldn't mind listening to your voice all the time actually..."

He was surprised but grinned widely, "I wouldn't mind that either."

That's when Jungkook realised, that taking a short walk on this bright, sunny day... well.
It didn't hurt at all.
