It's not everyday that you walk into a post when you're on the way to the coffee shop. I mean, I'm just a guy in the need for afternoon coffee so I can finish punishing essays, surely the journey for the coffee wouldn't be so harsh on me?
And yes, I did walk into a lamppost. I swear, I just got off my phone from checking a message and looked up, only to stumble away as my forehead tensed up in agony.
Not the best decision I've made, trust me.
What got me riled up, was the guy who had been walking behind me. He was laughing at me.
In fact, he was so busy laughing at he walked into the same post, evidently in the same pain I had felt. "Karma eh?" I say, watching him rub his head.
"Probably yeah, sorry it was just hilarious." He says, flashing me an awkward smile. He didn't seem like a douchebag, and those dimples are definitely cute.
Uh oh, might be developing a liking for him.
"Don't apologise, I'd probably laugh too- yikes we're horrible people." I reply, causing us both to laugh.
"Yeah, horrible and embarrassing... would you like to get coffee with me? It's the least I can do." He says, genuinely and generously.

"Oh- um, sure, I was going to the coffee shop anyways." His eyes seem to light up with delight and I can't help but think about how cute this guy.
But would he really be interested in me? And be interested in dudes? The possibility of that being true is pretty slim.
"That's great! Shall we go? I'll pay." He exclaims, beginning to walk in the direction of the coffee shop, as I follow.
"It's my fault that this happened in the first place, I'll pay." He brushes my offer off dismissively, saying that it's no problem.
Perhaps walking into that lamppost wasn't such a bad idea after all.
