Part 2! Rako Hardeen

1st POV

Quite a few moons have gone past since Obi-Wan Kenobi had died. Since Obi-Wan Kenobi had been murdered by Bounty Hunter Rako Hardeen. I haven't been able to get his smug look off my mind since the incident occurred. The way his aqua blue eyes bore into mine as he escaped... that look he gave me.
Another curious question was why Rako Hardeen and Obi-Wan Kenobi had the same force signature. I had gone to both Master Yoda and Master Windu with these questions, but they just shrugged me away, claiming my judgement was clouded.

I know Obi-Wan. My judgement isn't clouded by grief as they say it is.

Anakin Skywalker and I have been getting together a couple times a week to centre in and track Hardeen. He has hit a couple bars during his time free of bondage, and has picked up a few friends along the way. Friends like Cad Bane, the young Boba Fett, and Bossk. All terrible friends to have.

Today was one of the days Anakin and I decided to meet. Anakin had heard from the Chancellor himself that Hardeen and Bane had been seen on the swamp planet of Nal Hutta, which was nasty business indeed. Many Jedi that go to that planet don't make it off again.
"Do you think we will need Ahsoka to come along for this?" I questioned while looking over the coordinates that Master Skywalker had provided, "This seems a little dangerous."

"That's exactly why I'm not allowing her to come with us," Anakin agreed, turning off the com link with the coordinates and slipping it into his pocket, "These Bounty Hunters can't be underestimated, and Ahsoka isn't strong enough to go with us."

I shook my head in disagreement, "I feel like Ahsoka would be very disappointed if you didn't allow her to come. Obi-Wan was her friend too."

Anakin dipped his head and looked at the floor; visibly upset, "You're right, (Y/N). That would be like sending a group without bringing you— Ahsoka can come."
Anakin has always known about yours and Obi-Wan's relationship despite neither of you telling him. It's kind of like how Obi-Wan knows about Anakin and Padmé. We all hang out together enough to be able to know things without verbal communication.

"I will call her then," I whispered. I was beginning to grow nervous over this whole ordeal— the realization that I will have to confront my boyfriend's murderer again, and the fact that I will have to recognize his force signature, which instills the denial I have about Obi's death.
I clicked on my com link; attaching it to Ahsoka's line. We chatted for a bit about the situation, and she agreed that she should accompany Anakin and I to Nal Hutta.

After I hung up the call, we loaded onto one of the Republic's less recognizable ships, waited for Ahsoka, and once she arrived, we took off. Nal Hutta is in the Outer Rim, so we obviously initiated Hyper Space travel so we could get there faster.
While the ship was in Hyper Space, I just sat silently in my seat in the cockpit, thinking about my lost Obi-Wan.

Every memory, no matter how random or obscure they were, began to pop up in my head. From something simple like studying in the Jedi archives, to fighting by his side, or sharing a piece of food while on a mission... our first kiss.
Tears began to well up in my eyes at the thought of him— my one and only love. He was all I've ever wanted and more. I would leave my life in the Order behind me immediately if I could just see Obi-Wan one last time.
