Chapter 48: Inspiration And Injuries

The serial killer in this chapter is the over the shoulder inspiration from my friend Katie's longing dream job of writing comic books.

Her side character Lucious, who I want dead, (but will never die in her comic for that sole reason of tormenting me) is the inspiration.

It was Saturday morning the students were slowly waking up. Shota was doing overtime in an Underground hero job, hopefully it'd be over soon in two hours so he could come home to Heights Alliance and sleep. Toshinori (All Might) was silently watching the scene before him with Hizashi and Ectoplasm as Akemi had been filling the common room floor near the windows with crumpled up drawings of mural designs.

Nothing spoke to her so finally she gave up and decided to just paint something. So using her hair she grabbed her old ink painting sets from her bedroom and started painting the sunrise adding a mythical two headed Yokai bird into her painting.

The tips of her barbed hair were coated in paints and lightly she started to paint. Her brush work was light but fast.

The students filed into the common room to make breakfast only to gasp in awe over Akemi's ink paintings. She already had four ink paintings finished. One of the sunrise with the mythical Yokai bird, the second was of Shota that she painted from memory. It showed the pair with a tiny stripped black and grey kitten with white paws and lime green eyes playing with the end of Shota's scarf. His painted smile looked so lifelike. The third painting was of a lotus flower koi fish pond.

The fourth was the funniest because she switched for ink to watercolor.
