Akemi woke up Sunday morning to find a text message from a popular pro hero friend on her phone. It was from Tatsuma Ryuko the Dragoon hero.

- Hey Akemi I'm back from my brief mental and spiritual trip to China to visit family after the...well you know about the tragedy I was unable to prevent...Anyway I wanted to see how my old friend is doing, especially now that I'm reconnecting with technology again. How's the mummy man?

- I'm glad to hear you got a moment of peace in China Ryuko. He's fine...is wanting to strangle a few teachers and agencies over the Hero Studies..."

- I've been briefed about that when I was visiting the agency. Honestly I agree with his standpoint but I don't know about the other agencies. I think they'd rather have these kids with noteworthy agencies that have a good track record.

- Huh we both agree and that's what it looks like it's going to come to and he's okay with that but he's still not happy with it...these kids may be kids but they need this experience to be able to make it as pros. The League of Villains is silent right now but you'd have to be a idiot to not say that it's growing in power underneath the silence.

Akemi smirked as she stretched and sighed softly before slowly changing into her casual hero outfit. She walked into the nursery to get Emiko. She entered and quickly shut the door over the bear that was currently occupying the right side of their queen sized bed. Shota Aizawa was out cold in their bed. Snoring loudly like a hibernating grizzly bear on his pillow with half the covers over him and his arm hanging off the bed. Last night was long for him.

The students were so awestruck by his performance they had asked a plethora of questions. Mostly it was Jiro who was going all punk rock with her lengthy questions.

Akemi smirked softly as Tsukiko was curled up in Emiko's cradle purring against the sleeping baby girl. Emiko woke up to her momma caressing her little cheek.

"Morning sweetie you wanna go with me to visit your Auntie Ryuko?"

Emiko yawned and fell asleep again with a little incoherent baby babbling. Akemi smiled as she picked up her sleepy baby girl and rocked her gently around the room in a little dance. Emiko woke up a few seconds later to a grumbling tummy. After Akemi fed, burped, and changed her daughter she wrote Shota a note about where she was going and left with a babbling Emiko in the baby carrier.

At the Cat Cafe...

Ryuko was waiting with a hot Cafe Mocha in hand. She smiled softly as her eyes closed when she took a sip. She opened her eyes only to see a psycho grin and a mini toothless grin smiling brightly at her.

"Heya Ryuko!"

Ryuko rightly turned to the left and spit out her drink with a wide eyes. "Akemi, YOUR A MOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Emiko was happily babbling and clapping her little hands together gleefully. Akemi caressed her babies cheek with her index finger.

"Yep she was a nice surprise..."

Ryuko ran her hand through her chin-length blonde hair, which she wears swept back with a headband, a long fringe over the right side of her face, covering her eye was the focal point. Her thin, inward-tilting eyes with slitted pupils stared down at the happily babbling baby girl who looked like both her parents. She smiled brightly as her notably sharpened white teeth glimmered in the light. Her reptilian appearance is a reference to her Quirk.

"She's sooooo cute Akemi! What's her name?"

"Emiko..."

"The 'Smiling Child' definitely suits her well." Ryuko giggled over Emiko sucking on her handkerchief pacifier that looked like her daddy's capture scarf. "Awww hiya Emiko your going to give your daddy grey hairs aren't you?"

Akemi smirked softly and ordered a jumbo Cappuccino Macchiato and a Cranberry Mandarin Orange muffin. Ryuko was horrified over hearing about the USJ attack and said it was hard for the first week to relax while in China. She smiled over everything Akemi told her after that before the summer camp attack.

Her voice turned cold. "What..."

"It's not a tragedy Ryuko the boy was saved."

All Mights retirement was a jaw dropper. "WHY THE HECK WAS I GONE SO LONG WHEN YOU ALL COULD'VE NEEDED ME I CANNOT BELIEVE I WAS UNAWARE OF THIS!"

"Ryuko no you needed that break to visit family in China. We're all fine now. All Might is alive and everyone is safe."

"Soooo you're a mother to a purple haired Shota huh?"

Akemi smirked and showed a picture of Hitoshi. "He prefers to be called Shinso when not among those he knows at U.A. he followed my example. He's a wonderful boy and an incredible big brother to Emiko she adores him and Tsukiko was following him around like a little lamb long before the adoption process."

Ryuko smiled only to gasp in shock at the date. "Akemi oh dear I'm sorry I cannot believe it but have you even looked at the date on your phone recently?"

"What why?"

She looked at the date and stood up gasping. "Oh I cannot believe I forgot about today!" She hastily gathered everything up and took her macchiato. "I'm so sorry Ryuko we can meet up next Sunday if you have time, but I have to go meet up with Shota! I hope he's not mad or upset at me for forgetting about this day..."

Ryuko smiled in a soft reassurance. "Go Akemi and if he gives you that upset husband version of a silent treatment then just shove Emiko into his face. She'll get him smiling again."

Akemi smirked softly but it wasn't a genuine expression as guilt flooded her mind. "Thanks Ryuko..." She turned and hastily left for the cemetery.

Today was the day they go to visit his parents graves. To honor their anniversary even though they've passed. This was the first time he had to go there alone...

She couldn't believe she had forgotten.
