Chapter 55: The baby shower

The end of the seventh month of Akemi's pregnancy (day three for Midoriya's house arrest) Bakugo and Midoriya were questioning on wether to knock on the dorm apartment. Midoriya turned to Bakugo.

"Should we knock Ka-chan?"

"Hell yeah we should knock Deku! I'm not like that little pervert, and having Mister Aizawa mad at us is one thing, the last thing I wanna deal with today is an angry pregnant Harionago!"

Midoriya bit his bottom lip and shuffled from one foot to the next. "Sooo are you gonna knock?"

"Hell No! You do it Deku!"

"But you said!"

The door opened revealing a black veil of hair covering the person's entire body. The woman's hands were gripping the doorframe and the doorknob. The woman's hair covered her face and as she lifted her head part of her hair shifted to reveal her blood red right eye.

Both boys paled in complexion over the glare her eye was giving them. They knew her eye wasn't really glowing but her eye appeared to glow just like Mister Aizawa's when he's using his quirk. Bakugo elbowed Midoriya towards the woman and the green haired boy was now standing a few inches away from the scariest teacher at U.A.

"Hi Miss Yuriemoto uhhh...Mister Aizawa told us to clean the dorms and well ummm..." Midoriya looked down at the floor and started rambling. Bakugo rolled his eyes.

"You need us to clean the place or whatever...jeez Deku stop rambling."

Akemi's hair parted showing her deadpanned half lidded stare as she groaned at them. The boys took immediate notice of her pale face and that she had a little dribble of vomit on the corner of her lip.

"I don't think you'll survive the bathroom boys..." She leaned against the door and groaned. "Goddddd I want this baby out of me!"

Midoriya spoke up in concern. "Are you okay?"

Akemi spoke with a aggravated tone. "Do I look okay? I'm ending my seventh month of my pregnancy going on the eighth. My baby could easily come any day now and I'm currently wanting to kill my husband because of the baby making me vomit over the taste and smell of my favorite dessert."

"..."

Akemi hung her head and cradled her stomach. "Why sweetie why won't you let mommy have a piece of Mizu Yōkan!"

Yōkan (羊羹) a thick, jellied dessert made of red bean paste, agar, and sugar. Usually sold in a block form, and eaten in slices. Mizu yōkan is often chilled and eaten in summer.

Midoriya was unsure of what he should say and Bakugo was uncomfortable with all of this. Akemi looked up and spoke. "Oh right, you two can come in if you want and start cleaning the main area, but don't go into the bathroom I'll handle that mess."

The four rooms were specifically designed to be connected with hidden sliding doors in the walls and the first room was the living room and kitchen. The next room was the couples bedroom.

Akemi walked over and spoke. "Your allowed inside of our bedroom but if you wanna continue living then you will only clean for dust and not snoop around got it!"

Both boys nodded and Akemi groaned pitifully as she headed towards the bathroom. "Goddddddddd you're killing me with this stomach sickness sweetie..."

The boys looked around the main living room and kitchen area. There wasn't much for furniture, a newer light grey couch, a small dining set, and a cat tree and cat walks along to the walls were the main decorum. As far as photos of the couple there were none whatsoever hanging on the walls a few ink paintings from Akemi but no photos. The TV stand drawers was opened showing a few photo albums.
