A/N:

Cheers for long ass titles! I think we all know after reading this that it leads up to a part 2, so request if you'd like to read further x Also this will be my last writing before going to meet 5sos again so I honestly don't know how writing is going to be afterwards I remember last time when I had such a hard time writing because it felt so weird

Luke:

"Ashton I'm serious, don't tease me about this." You looked at him in warning, you didn't want him to ruin the cake already because you had been going through lots of trouble to just start it. "I'm not doing anything." Ashton looked at you innocent but his thoughts weren't clean. He was teasingly holding the bottle of salt above the bowl with mixture when you had clearly told him it was sugar he was going to use. "You're clearly doing something with that smirk on your face." You almost spat, not wanting to sound angry and he knew you only played an act. He moved the hand back and forth in motions as if he was going to drop it, only want to piss you off even more. "Ashton just give me the salt before you ruin it and we have to start all over aga-," You leaned forward to take the salt out of his hands, your eyes widening when the opposite thing happened. Ashton dropped the whole box of salt into the bowl and he couldn't help but drop his jaw. "That just didn't just happen." You almost couldn't believe your eyes, silence falling upon the kitchen. You looked between Ashton and the mixture not really knowing what to say but then you both bursted into laughter. "This is too stupid." Ashton shook his head in disbelief and fished the nasty box out of the mixture. "I don't think we should bake, ever." You made sure to put pressure on the last word and looked up at Ashton. "What? This is the funniest baking episode I've ever experienced." He started to wave the box into your face and you immediately pushed back. You were fooling around in the kitchen when Luke suddenly came in, a puzzled expression on his face. "What is going on?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, looking between you and the nasty box with dej. "We're just trying to bake a cake." You breathed deep from all the laughter and tried not to look at Ashton because you would laugh again. "Without asking me?" Luke really seemed like he didn't want to sound angry but the small frown on his face showed otherwise. "Ask you for what? Permission to bake with your bandmate?" You knew the question was snotty but you still said it. You didn't understand the way he was reacting. "Luke, we were literally just baking." Ashton broke into the conversation really just trying to prove whatever his thoughts were proved wrong. "Yea I'll just leave again." Luke shook his head and turned around to head back where he came from, leaving you and Ashton in confusion.

Calum:

"You've been hanging over him all night!" "Hanging over him all night? Cal, the only thing I've been doing is playing a little bit of beer-pong what is the big deal with that?" Your mouth was open agape and your eyes were ready to pop out. You couldn't understand the situation you were standing in, you couldn't even believe you were having this argument in the first place. It had been less than minutes you were standing with Luke having rather fun. It wasn't how you had predicted the night but it was how it turned out. Calum mostly stayed outside to smoke and you respected that but he also needed to respect you wanted to stay inside. Both because it was a chilly weather night but also because you were starting to grow tired of the constant smell of smoke lingering on your clothes. It wasn't something you found attractive but you still accepted that he did it. He just needed to understand you weren't going to stay with him outside all the time. And with Luke finding you in the corner of the party pretty confused of what to with yourself he was the perfect gift to the boredom. It wasn't that he was playing cocky when he suggested for you to play but before you knew you had played four rounds, all including you and Luke winning. You weren't sure if it was luck or Luke just playing rather great when he was drunk. Tables had been turned though when Calum had suddenly dragged you away from the fun and into one of the bedrooms upstairs where the only noises were from the loud music down under. "Why are you reacting like this? You don't usually do that and I think it's rather inappropriate." You looked at him almost pleading for answers but he had suddenly turned quiet. His frown was growing bigger and the eyes had lowered to the floor. You could almost see the faint color of redness on his cheeks from the blush that he was suddenly creating, but for what for you weren't aware. Your arms fell down in frustration and you almost wanted to turn around and leave. If he wasn't going to say something about his sudden outburst and behavior you couldn't help but feel a bit sad. You didn't want to blame on the alcohol but when he was being so quiet you had no idea what else to blame it on. You wanted to roll your eyes but you decided to keep your head high and turned around without saying a word. He could catch you if he want but he remained quiet.

Michael:

You know you're not supposed to play in there." Ashton tried to remind with a straight line on his face, the headphones making his curly mock of hair flat on his head. He looked between you and Calum fooling around inside the recording both with papers scattered in your hands. Even though Ashton's voice was loud in the microphone you still couldn't hear it probably inside of your head as Calum was being so annoying. You couldn't focus on anything else and you truly believed he was doing it on purpose. "Y/N! Calum! Concentrate!" Ashton tried to sound stern and sincerely wished that Michael could help him but he was just staring at the glass of window as if he didn't want to comment on what was going on. "We're trying but Y/N just keeps making the tone wrong." Calum argued, trying not to laugh meanwhile and look serious. "I'm not making the tone wrong but Calum wants my tone to be as low as his bass and that's not the purpose of a female fade voice over the words." You tried to sound sassy but it wasn't helping when Calum suddenly grabbed you from the side and started to pull you around. You definitely wanted to see Ashton's reaction because it would be priceless but with your hands in front of your face it was hard to see anything. "Protect your area Cal if you're going to tickle me." You warned, trying to hit but missing because he was pulling you around while trying to tickle you. "What are they doing?" Ashton asked in confusion but not into the microphone, looking over at Michael instead. He had an empty look on his face as he watched you, he wasn't sure what was going on in his mind. He looked as if he was dropped empty somewhere not knowing what to do with himself. "Are you serious? I said don't tickle me there otherwise the single is going to sound like a dying pelican." You tried to warn Calum again but he wasn't listening. This was what would happen after four cups of coffee and a song being written overnight at the tour bus. You were ending up going crazy by the lack of sleep. "I don't care it means you have to listen to me when I direct you to something." Calum teasingly said but you both were interrupted by the loud sound of rings in your ears. You pulled off the headphones quickly to look out of the window and see Ashton desperately trying to fix the torture and the chair Michael had been sitting at was left empty.

Ashton:

"Are you okay? You look kind of tense?" Luke couldn't help but ask the question. He had been sitting for a while just glancing over at Ashton wanting to take in his face expressions. They seemed to take turns every now and then and he couldn't help but feel lack of concentrations. He had no idea for how long they had been sitting there but they were doing the checkups for everything to make sure the arena was ready and proper safe for tonight. They had decided to sit in the middle of everything, row 26 to be exact and the part that was right in the middle. Only a few rows away from where John was making all the lights equipment prepared along with the microphones they were currently testing. Or most probably supposed to check as Ashton had turned quiet instead and had his eyes focused on the stage where you were fooling around with Michael. It didn't look anything else but innocent but to be honest Luke could almost hear his knuckles crack as he grabbed onto the armrest of his chair. "I'm perfectly fine. It's just nice to see everyone is taking this thing serious." It was a luck Ashton's microphone had been turned off otherwise you would have been able to hear everything they were talking about. "Hey... You know they are best friends." Luke reminded and his eyes glanced towards the stage. "You have to remember if it wasn't for Michael you wouldn't even know about Y/N. You just have to accept this is how their relationship is. They love goofing around with each other." Luke could tell his words were only making it worse inside of Ashton's head and when you were running towards the drum kit, his drum kit, and sat down with Michael he almost wanted to stand up. "Ashton please don't-," Luke wanted to stop this before something ugly would happen, he didn't want Ashton's anger take over something it shouldn't. "No Luke that's my drum kit and I don't need my girlfriend and best friend to ruin it over with their happy laughter." He turned on his microphone and ignored the looks Luke was giving him. "Uh, I'm sorry to interrupt the best friends on stage. But if you break my drum kit I'm certain someone is going to be rather pissed for tonight." It seemed as if both you and Michael got a shock by Ashton's voice loud in the arena followed by the microphone being dropped to the ground. "It's working perfectly fine, John." Ashton yelled back towards the sound kit and sat back next to Luke with crossed arms and a jealous frown.
