One night around 11:00 I was walking home from work instead of taking my usual route I took a side road that goes through the rural parts of my small town. At the beginning of the trail it was flat and we'll lit but the more I progressed the less level and light it became. Eventually the trail became Soo dark I had to use a small light I had on my keys it barely illuminated 4 feet in front of me. I suddenly got the urge to go back the way I came but didn't. I continued until my flashlight reviled the silhouette of a little girl. I thought she was a kid that was lost. I almost called out "are you all right" but stopped when I noticed that it wasn't a little girl at all it was a dummy. My mind raced with a thousand thoughts. I eventually shrugged it off and went on. The next day police reporting the murders of a little girl they used to bait in victims on the same road I took.
