never check under the bed

this is a true story that happened quite a few years back. I have 9 siblings, and it was early 2000's so we had to always use each other to occupy our time. we were playing hide and seek, and i was the seeker. while i was searching, i was checking every bedroom and under every bed. when i reached my moms room, i went to check under her bed. i lifted up the sheet, and what i saw wasn't human at all.

i was face to face with something that looked straight out of a horror movie. it was like staring into the face of satan, i don't know how else to describe it. the face itself was like, red and black with glowing red eyes. i freaked out to say the least, and all of my siblings came out from their hiding spots. of course none of them believed me at the time. we moved not long after.

i still see it in my nightmares sometimes. absolutely horrifying.
