For once in her life, Yumemi wasn't bothered by the fact that someone else had stolen the attention away from her. She had been getting interviewed about her latest music released when everyone began to fight for your attention. Yumemi just stood there, completely mesmerized by both your smile as you waved at everybody. She couldn't help but wish that you were directing your smile at her. Yumemi had seen how beautiful you were in the several movie posters that she had received but they didn't compare to seeing you face to face. The idea of going up to talk to you came to her mind but she decided against it. You were far too busy trying to talk to as many interviewers as you. When she sees you approach, Yumemi starts to panic. Her panic just gets worse when you actually smile at her. There was no doubt in her mind that she was blushing like crazy. The only good thing was that she could blame it on how hot it was at the moment.
"I'm a huge fan, Yumemi. It's nice to finally meet you."
Yumemi nearly fainted when you started talking to her. The only reason why she hadn't passed out was because she was trying to not make herself look like a fool in front of you.
"and I'm a huge fan of your work. I've watched all your movies and I was honored to be invited to sing one of the songs from the movie."
"Yeah? I was actually the one that asked the producers to hire you. More people need to recognize the true talent that you have."
"That's awfully kind of you, Ms. (l/n)."
"Yumemi, we're the same age. Please don't refer to me as Ms. (l/n). Call me (y/n)."
Yumemi's cheeks get redder from embarrassment and all you can think about is how adorable she looks.
"Right! Of course"
You're momentarily distracted from Yumemi when someone shoves a microphone in your face. Yumemi couldn't help but be disappointed that your conversation had been cut short. She's about to say goodbye when you surprise by reprimanding the interviewer and his lack of manners.
"I'm sorry about that. Come on. Lets go inside so we can have some more privacy."
You slide your hand into hers and lead her inside. It's far less crowded and much more quieter inside but people still come up to talk to you. You try to leave their conversations as quickly as possible but it's impossible. You're just grateful that Yumemi hadn't let go of your hand and left somewhere else. You included her in the conversation but it was obvious that she wanted to be somewhere else.
The moment that you were finally allowed a chance to breathe, you led Yumemi to the nearest bathroom. After making sure that no one was inside, you locked the door.
"Are you okay?"
Yumemi would've been concerned about the locked door but when she saw frustration written all over your face, she was more concerned about you.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm still not used to all the attention. It gets a little overwhelming sometimes. I'm sorry for just dragging you along with me. Having you close by helped keep me calm."
"We can stay here as long as you'd like."
Yumemi's nervousness to be so close to you had calmed down by now. She honestly liked being around you and would've preferred to just skip the movie premiere all together with you.
"I wish that was possible but it won't look good on me. Will you sit beside me?"
You had been so confident with her up until now. Now, you were a little afraid that she wanted to take off. You had lost quite a few friends because of what came with the fame. You hoped that Yumemi would stick around as she was used to the attention as well. You had only known her for a while but you liked being near her.
"Are you kidding me? Of course, I'll sit beside you. I can't think of a better spot than besides you."

The two of you actually sat besides each other and for the first time ever, you actually enjoined watching one of your movies. You weren't a big fan of looking at yourself in the big screen but you didn't mind it so much with Yumemi. Mainly because you were far more distracted with the fact that she was sitting so close to you.
The movie had ended and the two of you were outside waiting for your respective vehicles.
"I had a great time today. Thank you for keeping me company Yumemi."
"I really enjoyed spending my time with you."
Hearing this boosted your confidence.
"Really? Then how about we spend some more time together. Like maybe on a date?"
You knew you were being far too forward but you genuinely liked Yumemi. You wanted to be more than friends with her.
"I'd like that. I'll be in town for a couple of more days. Let me know when you're free." Her car arrives so she hurries to give you her number. Once she hands it to you, she leans in and kisses your cheek. "I'll be waiting for your message."
All you could do is nod since you were still processing what just happened. Lights were still flashing all around you with people asking you about what the kiss meant. Even if you wanted to answer them, you couldn't. You had only known Yumemi for a couple of hours and hadn't even gone out on your first date. All you could hope for was that it meant that she liked you too.
