Hana's POV
Welcome back
"It's happening"
"Welcome back? Who is the killer referring to?" Haknyeon asked
"Probably Hana" Chan said while standing at the doorway "Hana came exactly one month after Ashika went missing"
Jisung entered "Just looking at the possible ways, there are cameras on the left direction. I assume that this girl can be seen on the camera but the killer is not. The killer came from the right direction. It must be one of the staffs or any boys from the dorm"
"Did you change anything here?" Seungmin asked the female student
"I was about to sneak out and go to the cafeteria to eat but I noticed the door wasn't closed. We were told not to enter any empty room since everything is under renovation. I was about to close the door when I smelled a scent coming from the room" female student
"I assume it was the scent Hyunjin use" Katana said
"It is" female student
"What are you doing here?" Changbin asked Haknyeon
"Right. Only us, eight, were called here" Minho said
"He-" Katana
I held her wrist to stop her from telling them. That shouldn't be what we are focusing on, we should focus on this dead body. It has the same method of what I dreamt of.
Too late, Katana already caught their attention when she was about to tell them.
"He what?" Felix arrived
"Go back to your room" Hyunjin told the female student who saw the body
"Nothing. I was asking him for help about the clubs but I didn't know something-"
"Are you okay? Your neck is red. And you have some red marks" Jisung said as he noticed
I hurriedly let my hair down and covered my neck "Probably because of the necklace. I am a little uncomfortable-"
"Don't even lie" Katana said
"What did he do?" Minho asked
"Remember when Haknyeon threatened to kill me yesterday? He did a few minutes ago. I was in the bathroom, the lights were off, Hana is about to sleep" Katana said and looked at me "Tell them"
I sighed "H-He thought I was Katana. He choked me, I was about to die but I gained my strength and kicked him. He fell and that's when Katana came out. She was about to attack him but the student screamed. That's why we are here"
"Haknyeon, did you kill the female student?" Sumin asked as she entered
"Why would I? You can see in the cctv camera the time gap" Haknyeon
"He was right. There wasn't enough time to kill someone and suddenly rush to our room" Katana said
"What happened?" Jeongin asked as he came into the room
I saw him earlier. Does that make him the killer? No, he is not the killer in my dream and I am sure he is not the killer. The killer wasn't that obvious as what I have observed in my dream. The killer is the least I am suspecting of.
"Everyone, go back to your rooms" Professor Roy said as he came with Detective Chad
Everyone left the room, except for me, who stayed behind without them knowing.
"This is why I told everyone to strictly not leave their rooms before the said curfew" Professor Roy said while looking at the dead body
"I... I saw Jeongin"
They both looked at me.
"Hana, we have to go" Katana said
"We have to talk to her" Detective Chad told her
Katana bowed and left.
"Where have you seen him?" Professor Roy
"I think it was 5 minutes before the said curfew. I went to the cafeteria to fill my bottle with water, when I was about to go back, I saw Jeongin. I was about to call him but I don't have much time. I went back to the dorm"
"What was he doing?" Detective Chad
"I can't see what was he doing. I think he was just standing there. If he is waiting for someone, he will look around and will see me"
They both nodded.
"Another one, Minho used to give pink flowers to Ashika before, as what I have heard. Also, the note says welcome back, which is probably referring to me. It may be someone who thought I am Ashika. I don't know if this will help but both I remind Felix and Hyunjin of Ashika"
"Base on what I see, the killer is someone who is obsessed with Ashika, and he even thought that you are her. This is going to be hard" Detective Chad sighed
"I don't think Minho is the only one who likes Ashika, based on what I have heard, the eight of them have feelings for Ashika. Let's assume that Ashika died, probably the killer wanted to kill her since he can't have Ashika, the killer is obsessed with her. That exclude Minho, still, we have evidences pointed to the eight of them"
"Thank you for your cooperation. Your observation and information helped a lot. You can take a rest" Professor Roy said and smiled at me
I bowed and left the room... As I walked to my room, I saw Chan in front of the door.
"What brought you here?"
"Are you okay? You should go to the clinic-" Chan
"I am fine. It doesn't hurt at all. We have to focus on the dead body"
"We don't have to. The detective will do the rest, just give them the information they needed" Chan
I nodded.
"Did you went to the library? I think I have seen you there after the curfew" he asked
"Me? No, I didn't"
Chan was not in his room when the killing happened...
