Illaoi and Braum Vs. The Shadow Of War: Chapter 72 Arc 4 Saga 2

Narrator pov

Illaoi: Braum! Get down. 

Hecarim rushed Braum as both flew from the smoke and onto the starboard  and down the deck. The ship was large so the distance they covered, while large, didn't seem to big in terms of the boat's length. Hecarim slammed his glaive into Braum's shield as he assaulted him with a furry of blows, he kept the momentum of each attack up by spinning it and launching each attack with all of his force.

Braum: This is nothing for Braum!

Hecarim: You won't be saying that when I trample your bones!

Illaoi had jumped back out of the smoke as she looked around. The battles had already started as behind her distant explosions went off and the sound of the wind could be heard. Gunshots and clashing steel was all heard as she saw Hecarim rushing down Braum.

Illaoi:( He was right, we need to split up and take care of our own enemy first. Those who win, can go and help the rest. I need to beat this guy quickly before something happens to anyone else.)

Illaoi rushed at Hecarim as he swung his glaive all around him an she blocked it with her idol. She swept her foot under him trying to trip him. She hit his leg as she felt  sharp pain in her leg as he looked down at her and thrusted his glaive into the floor. She rolled away from it as he slammed the side of it into her and she got knocked back.

Hecarim: I will not rest!

He continued to attack Braum as he was still blocking the attack with his shield. He was buckling under the intense strength but her still held strong. Illaoi felt the Goddess's power in her idol as she swung the newly formed tentacle  as it crashed into Hecarim. He struggled back, but he charged in an instant as he was now a just a few feet Illaoi.

Illaoi:( So fast! How can he be this fast!?)

Braum jumped in front of Illaoi as both were sent flying back from Hecarim's charge. HE spun his glaive as both got up as Illaoi wiped off some blood from her mouth.

Braum: To think that someone so fast could exist. It seems you know a thing or two.

Hecarim:...

He held up glaive once more as he exploded towards Illaoi as Braum tried to shield her. He was too fast, as his glaive sliced Illaoi's arm and blood poured out. He curved his path as he exploded out again towards them. Braum held up his shield as Hecarim charged right into him and Braum was knocked back. 

Illaoi: Braum!

Braum: He's too fast! Braum cannot use his shield before he attacks again.

Illaoi:( Shit! How are we supposed to get this guy when he is this quick?)

Hecarim: Don't ignore me!

He charged again as Braum was begin knocked around, he kept standing up right before Hecarim could attack again. Illaoi swung her tentacle right where Hecarim was as he cleaved it with his glaive and charged at her instead. She held up her idol as he hit her with the glaive and she was sent into a wall and through it.

Braum: Illaoi!

Hecarim: You have bigger things to worry about, Big Guy!

Braum looked back to see Hecarim charge at him  as held up his shield and deflected a another flurry of attacks. Hecarim swung his glaive underneath the shield as it cut Braum's leg  and he hissed in pain. 

Illaoi sat up as she pushed the rumble off of her. She stood up to see Hecarim keep attacking Braum as she breathed heavily and pulled a sharp piece of wood out of her abdomen.
