Narrator pov

You sat at the entrance of the cave as you wrapped up the major wounds that you had as you saw that most of them had been patched up. It took a few hours but you finally sighed as you rested your back against the cave wall as you saw a liquid like rain fall from the top of the Underdark as you looked through the area you were in.

Y/N: Man, it can rain down here too? Hmm, interesting. The Void is a very interesting place. Rain falling from the sky, randomized geographic locations. It's all so weird and different, even more than when I got to this world.

You looked to the right of you as you saw the same large creature as it was sitting right next to you as its body was laid down so it could fit inside the cave. You stared at it as it opened its jaw and made a yawn like noise as it laid it's head back down on the cave floor. You blinked to make sure what you were seeing was real, and it most certainly was.

Y/N: And then there is you. I don't even know what you are, or what those others that listened to you are.

The large creature just laid there as you could tell it was listening, but not sure whether or not it could understand you or not. You thought about it for a moment as you moved in front of it as you tapped your foot near it. The large creature looked up towards you as it stood up a bit and growled.

Y/N: Now, the real question of the hour... How do I communicate with you.

The creature growled a bit as you waited for it to do anything. Nothing.

Y/N: Yeah, this silent stuff isn't going to work, we need to have a way for us to talk to each other so that you and I can understand each other, ok?

The big creature just kept standing there as it looked back towards the rain as it laid back down the cave floor. You sighed as you pondered all the possible options. You looked towards the creature as you could tell with certainty that this thing could not see.

Y/N:( The question is, how the hell is it able to see me and look at me as I move without eyes? Wait... Maybe, me and this creature have the same thing, maybe it has an incredible sense of hearing or smell!)

You looked around at it as you saw that it had ears, or ear holes to hear, but they looked small and did not seem very powerful to you. You looked to the front as it had a nose... Sort of.... Those thoughts left your mind as you sighed and sat back down.

Y/N: What is up with you?

The creature moved for a moment as you saw a small void bug moving across the cave floor, however it was making very little noise, so much that you didn't even hear it move and only saw it move with your eyes. You grabbed the blades as you moved towards it.

You saw how the big creature without batting an eye(lol) stamped the void bug with its big claw as it crushed it into oblivion. You saw it raise its hand as blood and guts were all over as it licked them away.

Y/N:( Did it hear it?! No, that's not possible, right? Wait, I'm thinking about this all wrong, if it's not hearing or smelling then.... Touch. Is it feeling the movement of certain things as they move? Maybe it has something to do with the waves of movements hitting it. Time for a test.)

You quickly and silently took out a small rock out of your pocket as you threw it towards the big creature. The rock hit the side of it as it bounced off the creature. In a flash the creature hit the rock out of the air with quick reflexes. You watched in awe as it laid back on the cave floor.

Y/N: AWESOME! You do have a great sense of touch. You must be using the movement around you, maybe you are sensing them move on the ground?

Nothing.... The creature just sat there as your excitement went down a bit. You saw that some of the other Void creatures were walking towards the cave, they looked similar to the big creature as they screech towards it. It responded with a low growl and a few feet stomps on the cave floor as they others then left.
