138.The presentation drama

Days passed like this...
Aditya was getting more attracted towards Avu as she was doing very good work. He was praising her a lot. Resham was getting jealous of her.

Today is a big day for all. As the clients are gonna make a huge deal with their company. Aditya has given all responsibility of the presentation to Avu. She had worked hard for it.

It was the time of the presentation. Avu checked the presentation one last time. Just then Aditya called her in cabin so she went there. Resham saw all this. She looked at others who were busy in their work. She got up from the seat and acted like she is going to washroom but she sat on Avu's seat and opened the presentation folder. She just saw it and delete it. She went back and also deleted it from the recycle bin. Then she just open the random window on laptop and went towards washroom.

After some time Avu came and was about to check the presentation again but just then clients came and she just closed her laptop and went in conference hall. She entered and stood in one corner. They all settled themselves and they asked her to start the presentation. Aditya was also there.

After some time...
Resham was just waiting for the meeting to get over so that she can see tears in Avu's eyes. And guess what her wish get completed. She saw Avu coming out of the cabin with tears in her eyes. Resham got happy and stood up happily. All saw clients coming out of the cabin they stood up.

Client (shaking his hand with Aditya) : So, the deal is final Mr. Aditya. Meet you soon.

Aditya : Yes. Sure.

(Clients went making all happy except Resham who was confused. Aditya turned towards Avu.)

Aditya : Miss. Avneet I can't thank you enough. Thank you so much for this. Because of you only we got this much big deal.

Avu : Thank you sir

Aditya : So, guys for celebration I am giving party to all of you tonight at my house. So, come there after office. And Miss. Avneet you can go home with a half day.

Avu : Thank you sir.

(Aditya nodded and left from there. All congratulate Avu. All were happy. Sid was worried about Avu who has tears in her eyes still. Avu went towards coffee area. After about 5 minutes Sid reached there and saw her crying. He looked here and there and went to her and stood behind her. She sensed him and turned and hugged him tightly.

Sid hugged her back and started caressing her back. He was tensed for her. After some minutes he pulled away. He cupped her face and wiped her tears. He kissed her eyes and cheeks. She clutched his shirt in her hands.)

Sid (worried) : Why are you crying baccha?

Avu : I missed dad Siddoo. I am missing him so much. Today when I finished my presentation all clients got happy. They said that I must have got the skills from my parents especially my dad of perfect organization and alignment. I remember our old days when me and dad used to talk a lot with each other.

(She again hugged him and buried her face in his chest. Sid felt bad about her. He consoled her and they pulled away. He made her sit on slab and made coffee for her. He gave her. She was about to drink it but Sid stopped her)

Avu : What?

Sid : I have something for you.

Avu : What?

(Sid took out chocolate and gave her. She squilled and kissed him on cheeks. Sid chuckled. He fed her chocolate and kissed her and went from there after cleaning her face and telling her to take rest at home. She sat there sipping the coffee and watching her phone.

After some time Resham came there. She came and saw Avu sitting sipping her coffee. There were no tears on her face. She got really confused but went and started making coffee for her. Out of nowhere Avu said)

Avu (looking at her phone) : I know Resham you only deleted my presentation.

(Resham got shocked to the core. She turned towards Avu and saw she was still looking at her phone. Avu looked at her)

Resham : What are you saying? You toh gave your presentation na.

Avu : Yeah. I gave. When I opened my laptop the presentation was not there. But I didn't get scared. Do you know why? Because I had already copied it to my pen drive. So, I quickly took it out and presente it. But I know you only deleted it.

(Resham was shocked to the core)

Resham : What the hell are you saying? You don't have any proof. You can't just blame me.

Avu : Who said I don't have any proof. See this.

(She gave her phone to Resham and played a video in which it is showing Resham's face doing something fastly in front of laptop. It was a footage of the laptop camera. Resham got shocked to the core )

Resham : What is it? This is not the proof.

Avu : Ok. Then. See I am having some high professional laptop in which you can see when the presentation got deleted and then you can check the timing of this footage. And besides what we're you doing at my desk at that time?

(Resham got silent. She thought now Avu will spoil her to the death)

Avu : Don't worry. I am not gonna tell this to anyone and spoil you. That's why I told this to you alone. I know you are jealous of me. But I would just say stop getting jealous and stop making efforts for spoiling me. Because you are gonna fail only. Keep some self respect towards you and work hard.

(Saying this Avu went from there. Resham was hell angry on Avu. She just stomped off from there. Avu went to her desk and started working. After some time, she went home and take some rest as Sid told her)
