I woke up to the sun shining through the window. I looked over my shoulder to see Steve asleep. I slowly sat up, keeping the blanket wrapped around my bare chest. I looked down at Steve and smiled. That smile turned to a frown of regret.

Steve thinks I moved here with my dad who travels a lot for work. He thinks I graduated early and am currently a student at the community college outside Hawkins.

That's where he thinks I go every day when I actually go to Hawkins Lab and give them my report.

About three months ago, the doctors at Hawkins Lab sent me to town to keep an eye on the local law enforcement and make sure no one knew about the lab. My job was to distract them if they got too close to the lab. So far, they haven't noticed. I wasn't sure what kind of distraction the doctors at the lab wanted but I knew it had to be big.

I came here to spy on Hawkins. Instead, I fell for Steve Harrington. We met at a party that the lab wanted me to monitor. I didn't know why they wanted me to go to a high school party and make sure a bunch of teenagers didn't know about a super-secret lab outside of Hawkins.

I thought about that night, that party, a lot.

I was slowly drinking my beer as I watched teenagers drink too much. It amazed me how childlike teenagers acted. I rolled my eyes and they landed on a girl getting way too much punch. I watched as her boyfriend tried to get her to stop drinking. That ended the exact way I knew it would: her red drink spilling on her white blouse.

They went to the bathroom but the boy returned first. He instantly went for the table full of drinks. A few seconds later, the girl walked straight out of the party. As the kid threw his head back drinking as much of his beer as he could, I couldn't help but feel bad for the guy.

"You better slow down," I chuckled when he walked over and grabbed another beer.

"And you better keep to your own business," he drunkenly sneered.

"Classy," I scoffed. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see the guy checking me out.

"No."

"What?" He chuckled.

"No, we aren't going to get back at your girlfriend for whatever she said in the bathroom."

"You saw that," he mumbled. He scoffed and chugged his beer. "She called it bullshit."

"What?"

"Us." He cleared his throat before whispering, "Me."

"I'm sorry," I whispered. "For the record, you're not the one who's bullshit. She is."

After that night, Steve and I ran into each other a lot more. Eventually, he told me that he and Nancy broke up. I helped him through his breakup. A week later, we were watching a movie, smoking. The stuff that we got was a lot stronger than we were used to. We woke up in his bed the next morning.

Instead of being awkward about it, Steve asked me out. We've been together for two months and he still doesn't know the truth about me.

"Hey, babe," Steve said sleepily as he sat up.

He wrapped his arm around my waist and leaned his chin on my shoulder. I closed my eyes, a moan slipping out as he started kissing my shoulder. Steve slowly moved up my neck, stopping at my ear.

"Baby," I moaned as he pulled me back down. Steve smirked as he instantly hovered over me.

"What?" He pouted. "You didn't enjoy last night?"
