Hey!
It's nice that you got to become friends with this boy. Truth is, the only way you can find out for sure if he likes you is if he tells you himself or if you ask him.
I say you shouldn't worry at this point about whether he does like you or not. There is no hurry for you to find out. If he truly does like you, he will most likely make his feelings clearer at some point, so there's no need for you to decide how you feel about it now.
Focus on getting to know him better and spending time with him. Sometimes we fret too much over the idea of romantic relationships that we forget how precious friendships can be.
