Hi, Dear!

Let me tell you that you're doing great! You just have to remember that Rome wasn't built in a day. It will take a lot of time for you to master a proper volume while you speak.

I'm a loud person too, and my friend is louder than I am, yet she's the one who's mild. From what I have observed, she doesn't really talk unless she's talked to or if she's with a very close friend.

I think you should try to practice silence in addition to speaking in a low voice. This actually makes people ask you to speak sometimes.

Loud isn't always rude; it's your tone, your facial expression, AND your words that contribute to you being rude or not.

Here's my advice: give it time. Observe and note what helps you with this subject. In a few months, you will be able to see at least some difference, even if it's not much. Change is never sudden; it happens gradually. So be patient, and don't expect things and especially yourself to change in a day or even a week!
