The requester is confused by a reaction from a friend of their crush.

First of all, it isn't your fault that it happened. I agree it is pretty confusing how she acted after what happened, maybe she was shocked that he did it and so that was a split-second reaction. I think all you can do is to carry on like normal (like you have been doing with your crush). There's not much else you can do without getting overly involved and asking her why she did what she did. However, she might not appreciate this so I would advise that you carry on as normal and possibly suggest that your crush asks why his friend did what she did. I'm sure he is confused himself by her actions. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Don't blame yourself because none of it is your fault.
