I woke to the sound of people whispering. Slowly I opened my eyes and stretched while I sat on the chair.

"Oh, you're awake, Y/N." Mic said as he looked over to me.

I replied as I stood up to stretch a bit more, "Yep. Well, since you're here I may as well go home now."

Just before I could take a step, the raven haired man spoke, "It's fine, Y/N. You can stay for a while. I'd like to ask you some things."

I then sat down again, "Alright, I suppose so."

He then situated himself so he was looking at me, "Why did you stay here for so long while I was out?"

I looked down at my hands, "Like I kinda said before, I felt that I should tell you that I'm sorry that this happened to you c-cause it was all m-my fault. I-I feel re-responsible for it."

He let out a sigh, "And like I said earlier too, this isn't your fault. It's mine for being foolish."

I open my mouth but no words come out, all I heard was Mic saying in the place of my own words, "I know, Y/N, that you would be able to argue for hours that it was your fault but really, it wasn't." I just nodded my head. There was a few seconds of silence before Mic said, "I ordered lunch. It shouldn't be too long before it's here. You can stay if you'd like; I insist. It's a thank you from me for protecting my Sho." Aizawa then elbowed him, as if to tell him to shut up.

'Damn quirk, why are you acting up again?! I didn't sense it just a moment ago. It must be them "bonding" I guess. So their...love?...has grown a little stronger?' I thought to myself as a slight smile crept onto my face, the feeling of such great fondness made me feel nice in a way that I have never felt before.

With the slight smile still on my face I said, "Thank you."

I guess Mic hadn't seen me smile before cause he stated with a smile and a chuckle, "I thought that you always had the same expression of nothingness like ol' grump over here..." he said as he looked over to Mr. Aizawa then continued, "I guess not." I then smiled a little bigger, showing a little teeth, since having someone talk about me in a (in my opinion) positive way. That has never happened before. Mic then added as he saw me smile bigger, "Would you look at that, she even smiles like you, Sho." Aizawa hit him in the face with his cast, causing him to jump back a little in his seat. I then looked down to the ground, allowing my hair to cover most of my face.

Quit smiling, you'll scare your teachers and fellow heroes off.

I then let my smile slowly fade away as darkness slowly crept back in the place of where the warm feeling of what I guess was love once was. 'Oh well, it was a nice feeling for once. Maybe that's why that quirk popped up one day...to allow me to feel a different emotion for a change.' I thought to myself. I then looked back up, tucking one side of my hair behind an ear.

Mic then whispered to my teacher, "She looks like you and acts like you in so many ways. Is she your long lost child?"

Aizawa angrily responded, "No, she is not, and I'm sure that she can hear you too. If she did hear you, I'm sure that she's going to beat you up before I can."

Mic then sat back in his chair, putting his hands up and exclaimed, "Hey! I'm just comparing similarities. Ya know I'm not serious, my dude."

Aizawa then huffed as he closed his eyes at Mics response before saying, "Now, apologize to her."

Before Mic could say anything, I blurted out, "Oh no, it's fine, you really don't need to apologize. I actually get told that quite a lot, that when I do smile I look scary." I then remember that Mic was comparing me to Aizawa, "I-I mean...I l-look scary, n-not th-that you do! I-it's just th-that I-"

I was cut off by my teacher, "It's fine, I know what you mean".

I took a deep breath and as I exhaled, I said under my breath, "Dammit, I dug myself a grave."

*Ping*

Present Mic's phone went off, "The food is here! I'll be back with it."

We then nodded our heads as he got up to retrieve everyone's lunch.

Go to the top of the building and jump off. You insulted your higher up. Do you know how rude that is?! You should kill yourself for making him feel worse since it was your fault that he got injured. All you did was add salt to an open wound.

I then punched myself a few times in the side of the head, but in a way that Aizawa may not notice.

"You really have to quit beating yourself up over nothing." Mr. Aizawa said as he sat up.

I asked, "H-how did you know I was just now..."

He replied as he tried to situate his blanket, "I just do." he paused, "Had a rough childhood?" I nodded my head before he added, "Which caused you to lack some emotions?"

My face turned red since he hit the nail on the head with that one.

I ask again, "How d-do you know?"

He said with a sigh, "I am the same way. This may sound cliché, but if you need to talk to anyone, please talk to me. I know how it feels. The only one I had to talk to was Hizashi, but he didn't quite know how it feels so he wasn't much help...yet it helped somewhat if that makes sense."

I then nodded before asking, "A-are you two dating?" My face then turned a deeper red cause I realized the question that I had just asked.

Though his face was mostly covered by bandages, I could tell that he too was turning red, "How do you know that we aren't just close friends?"

I put my hands in my sweatshirt pocket and tried to hide my face with my hair, "Th-this one quirk that I have act-activates without my control. I can...I can sense strong emotions." I then paused for a moment, "Your guys' connection felt strong, like a connection that I haven't sensed before with that quirk." I then added so quietly that I was sure that he couldn't hear me, "It feels like it's such a strong bond that it's almost special."

I was surprised at how cool-headed he was when he said, "Just...don't tell anyone. I don't want anyone else to know, especially the media".

"Don't worry, you wouldn't believe how much I know." I finished just as Mic walked back in with a box in hand.

"I have arrived with food!" He said loudly with a smile as he held the box over his head, then added as he set the box on the table and opened it, "I got pizza! It's not much but it's something."

"Again, thank you very much." I said as I was passed a piece of pizza on a napkin.
