(Note: This does not take place during the regular story; this is just a little story of its own.)
(If you didn't know, July 7th is Present Mic's birthday...I disappoint myself a lot with the stuff I know that doesn't pertain to real people...send help...On a different note *ahem* THIS IS ALMOST OVER WITH! There are five more chapters before I'm done publishing this! But on the bright side, I have something special in store for you. *Hands reader a sad sack of potatoes*)
I was sleeping so peacefully until I was woken up by someone whispering my name and telling me to wake up. I rolled over as I grumbled a little and squinted my eyes open to look at who was waking me up; it was Aizawa. "What?" I demeaned in a mumbled and tired tone as I closed my eyes again.
He whispered, "Today is Hizashi's birthday. I normally don't do these dumb things, but he hasn't had a party in a couple years like he used to. I was thinking that I'd be able to take him out of the apartment for a couple hours while you decorate the place."
"Okay..." I mumbled, "so..."
He sighed before continuing, "It'd be like a surprise party sort of thing."
"Who's all coming?" I asked just about falling asleep.
"Nemuri and Yagi."
I hummed tiredly before asking, "Is that all?"
"Yes."
I sighed, "Fine...when do you want this place decorated by?"
"Noon, since I already told Nemuri and Yagi to be here by 11:55 at the latest."
I wrinkled my nose as I asked and kept my eyes closed, "What time is it now?"
He didn't respond for a couple seconds, "A little past eight."
I pulled the blanket up over my head as I mumbled, "I have plenty of time."
I began to hear footsteps going away from my bed as he said, "Whatever, but I trust that you will have the place decorated to what you think that Zashi will like."
I sighed, "So I have to go all out, huh?"
"Exactly." he said under his breath before I heard him start to descend down the staircase.
I opened my eyes as I pulled the blanket back and waited to hear the front door open and close so I knew that they left the apartment, which would mean I'd have to start decorating. I reluctantly got out of bed and gathered what I was going to wear for the day. I settled with black skinny jeans, a black shirt with a cat in a ramen bowl, and a burgundy bomber jacket. I shuffled tiredly to the bathroom after I fed Melody. Though I was tired, I attempted to curl my hair. I'm not any good at using a regular curling iron, but what I am good with is a flat iron. Surprisingly my hair turned out pretty well. The curls were big and flowy, which I couldn't help but lift them a little and watch them bounce for a minute or two before I remembered I had something to do.
I then grabbed my purse before I left my room and went to the door to lace up my high-tops. I left and made my way to the mall. I knew that they had a store there that was specifically stocked with party items. Before I made it to the mall, my attention was caught by a store that was having a sale on desserts. We all know that I would never turn down a good sale, so I went in to check it out. As I began browsing the selection of sweets, I felt my phone buzz. I took it out and saw that I had received a text from Aizawa.
Aizawa: I forgot to tell you that lunch and cake would probably be great too.
Me: Well, I think I just found a good deal on a cake.
