I woke the next morning before my alarm went off. I tried to fall asleep again but I just couldn't. Since I had two hours before I had to be in the classroom before everyone else, I decided to play video games. As the console was loading, I decided to check my bandage. It was hard from dried blood, which became uncomfortable as I began to play games. At one point I decided to pause the game and change them. As I was changing the bandage, I realized that the cuts that I did were deeper than what I had normally been doing while I was back at the apartment. When I finished with that, I decided that since I was on a roll I should get ready in my school uniform. Since I knew that the cuts were going to open up again during the day, I threw on a long sleeve shirt underneath the uniform. The last thing that I needed was my uniform getting stained with blood again.
After I passed the time playing different video games, I decided that I should head to the classroom. I figured that since I'll be staying on campus for a while, I should get to know the location better. I turned myself invisible and activated the quirk again so I was able to walk through walls and such, and left my dorm. Once I was in the hall, I had an eerie feeling of how quiet it was for how many people were there. I walked down the hall and out of the building, then walked down a path which I figured was the correct way to the classroom. It was a good thing that I left earlier than usual because just as I got situated in my seat, Iida arrived.
"Are you okay?" asked Iida " You look pale."
I threw on a horrible looking smile, "Yeah, I just didn't get much sleep last night."
"I see; so a hard time out on patrol?"
I nodded my head, "Yep, it was harder than usual so I was out for a while last night." I said covering the truth with a lie.
"Well then, tonight if you can, you should go to bed earlier." he suggested.
"I'll try." I sighed.
He then took a seat at his desk as I turned my head to look out the window. I couldn't help but keep on finding ways to kill myself. I knew that I was depressed everyday, but it seemed that this day was worse than others. I was able to tolerate other days, but not today. I wanted to go back to the dorm and pretend to be dead; A.K.A. sleep. When class started, I couldn't help but feel tired. I then began to hate myself more since I knew that I could have slept in a few more hours, but at that time I couldn't fall back asleep. I tried my best to pay attention to the lesson, but for me most of it was review, so it was beyond boring. I was slightly happier when lunch rolled around. I knew that I would have been able to sleep then, not to mention that I wasn't even hungry so I wouldn't have to deal with eating.
Just as I generated a pillow, Aizawa walked over to me once everyone was out of the classroom. "Zashi made one too many this morning out of habit, so he wanted me to give it to you. When you finish it you can leave the box on the podium."
I took the lunch and said with a last minute smile, "Thank you, I'll have to be sure to thank him later too."
Before he left he asked, "Are you alright? I noticed earlier that you were a little paler than usual, but you gained a little color since then."
I sat the box on my desk, "Yeah, I'm fine."
"Well then, just so you know, if you need to talk to someone you can talk to us still even though you aren't at the apartment anymore."
I nodded my head once, "Thanks." He then nodded his head before walking away as he tucked his hands into his pockets.
I looked down to the box lunch and debated if I should eat it.
'I'm not even hungry.'
But it'd be rude if you didn't eat it.
'I know...but I'm not hungry.'
