I woke up the next morning feeling as if I hadn't slept a wink all night. I got out of bed slowly since everything hurt so bad; it even hurt to just breathe. I hobbled down to the bathroom and got ready ever so slowly. It felt like it took ages to just put on new bandages, which hurt like hell when I had to rip the old ones off since the dried blood was stuck to the cuts, making about ninety percent of them start to bleed again. I winced at every move as I did my hair- well, with just every movement that I did. I tried to use a quirk to subdue the pain, but that didn't last too long. As soon as I walked out of my room, I saw that Yamada just walked out of their bedroom and to the kitchen. Upon seeing him, I tried to walk and move as if nothing hurt. Going down the stairs hurt so bad that I debated if I should just throw myself down them.

When I made it to the sofa, Yamada took notice of me and said, "You're up late; you feeling alright?"

"Yeah, I'm just tired." I responded.

"Well at least you get off of patrol at eight, so you can get more sleep tonight." he said as he put food into a bento box.

I scoffed tiredly, "I don't know if I can wait that long. I didn't sleep at all last night. I don't know what I'm going to do about patrol after school, and I'm not calling in sick."

He then said with a slight laugh, "Since you get done with assignments pretty quick, I'm sure you'll probably sleep then."

"And during lunch." I added.

"Of course you will." he said as he put food in another bento box.

"But you will eat before you take a nap." Aizawa said as he leaned on the counter.

Both Yamada and I sort of jumped since we didn't notice him walk out of the bedroom.

"Morning, Sho..." Yamada said as he packed up a lunch and handed it to Aizawa, "Here you go."

I then stood up and tried to not whimper from the shooting pain. I then took my lunch and walked to the door behind the other two so then they couldn't see me hobble my way there. I slid on my shoes instead of bending over and putting them on correctly that way so I wouldn't ruin the backs of the shoes. When we got in the car, I didn't bother buckling up. I just laid down in the back and tried to fall asleep, but my slumber was interrupted.

"How did work go yesterday?" Aizawa asked. Yamada tapped his finger loudly on the steering wheel as he cleared his throat. "What?"

"It's fine..." I said as I sighed. "It was alright; it didn't go as planned, but the villain is in custody by the least." I said as I finished with a yawn.

"What happened?" he asked.

Yamada answered for me, "You remember the breaking news..."

"Oh, it was that." Aizawa said before pausing, "At least the number was quite low for how large the building was."

"But still..." I said.

"You did your best and saved nearly all of the residents." he said, trying to bring a little positivity.

There was a moment of silence before I said, "I'm going to sleep now."

A few minutes later I finally achieved my goal of sleep, but it didn't last too long since we made it to the school a little while later. We then got out of the car and went in. I followed behind them again so I could walk at a slow pace so it wouldn't hurt too bad. Aizawa then took notice of my snail pace and stopped, which then Yamada did too. Aizawa told him that he was going to meet him in the teachers office so he could keep on walking, which he did. I had to walk normally since he was now watching me as he waited for me to catch up.
